Chapter 4-Been About Ya Still About Ya

I was at work working on this new line for mommy poppings and he was looking at my sketches and said "I hate it"

"Huh"I said looking at him crazy

"Its....Basic"He said

"You crazy this my best work"I said

"Its not....Adrianna take it from a man point of view Mommy poppings is suppose to be sexy fun and exciting"He said

"okay raise my budget on the line and I'll give you that"I said

He laughed and said "Can't do that .....come on Adrianna push yourself you are a working mom would you wanna wear these designs no you wouldn't so bring the heat Adrianna"He said

I ripped out the sketches and balled them up and threw them in the trash

"I'll just tell my husband Im staying late at work"I said grabbing my phone

"Im leaving early"He said

"Really thats the third time this week you and Shantel are hitting it I shall start a match making business"I said

"Well dont quit your job yet But yes we are hitting it off Shantel....is so...so..."He said as I cut him off and said "Ghetto"

"I have reservations at a new restaurant tonight so if you don't mind I have to leave now partner"He said

"Don't be like Adrianna got it...have fun sketching"He said gathering his things as he left

I stayed at work late I got home kids were in bed and Chris was fast asleep I showered and laid next to my husband and went to sleep about two hours later I woke up and Chris wasn't next to me

I got up looking for him and he was downstairs in the studio writing

He looked at me and said "Whats wrong mama"

"You know I can't sleep without you"I said

"Sorry I had some shit on my mind I had to come write it down I'll be up in a minute after I smoke go back to sleep"He said

"Chris I can't sleep without you"I said

He smiled and said "Yo that shit is mad cute"

"Right I don't know what Ima do when you drop your album and go back on tour Im never go be able to sleep"I said

"Yo Im actually thinking about to start recording my album soon"He said

"I think you should you been more than a supportive husband to me and I know you been dying to get back on tour so I say go for it don't reach for the stars become one isn't that what you told me"I said as I sat on his lap facing him

"So good to hear that yoo I thought you was gonna be pissed at me"He said

I smiled and said "Chris I want you to do the things that make you you I want you to be happy because you make me happy "I said as I smiled
