By Wednesday afternoon, when he should be focused and heading to his most important meeting of the week, Cal was still reeling from the shock of his encounter with Alex.

The same thoughts still milling through his mind. I've never forgotten to wear a condom...until last Friday. How could he have done that? He's never gone bareback before. Ever. How could he have forgotten something so ingrained in him, a ritual he performed religiously every time he was with anyone. He never wanted to put himself into a position where he would have to consider the outcomes of not protecting himself. Always pausing mid-lust to add that safety measure.

That night, for some reason, it had gone right out of his head. Alex hadn't made him pause or said anything either. The thought of that was also concerning and a bit distasteful considering, if he were to base it on his personal experience, she seemed very progressive in her approach in picking sexual partners. He guessed it was possible that she'd forgotten just like him....

It was possible he got overly distracted because it had been one of the most erotic experiences in a long time, maybe ever. The image they made in the mirror, her dress bunched at her waist and him moving in and out between her thighs, replayed in his mind and was keeping him constantly horny. He needed to fix his situation and made a mental note to ask Jack about her. Convinced he just needed one more fuck to get her out of his system - third time lucky.

Sighing, he tried to stop the rambling in his brain. His cock was making itself known and he really needed to get his shit together for this meeting. Zach, the CEO at Serkos, had called him in and said they were generally happy with the RFP submitted by xByte, but - and there's always one - there was something they wanted to discuss with him and his CTO.

He pulled into a parking space and saw Geoff leap out of his car.

"Hi Cal, you know much more about this meeting?"

"Not much other than that they like most of what we've proposed but can't wait until we deliver the final software features six months from now which could potentially rule us out of the race. Zach wants to discuss some possible options with us."

"Ok, I guess we're about to find out then."

They strolled into the lobby of Serkos, one of the largest insurance companies in the industry, and were shown into a meeting room. Several people were already sitting around a large table chatting.

"Mr. Stefano, Mr. Knight and Mr. Belmont are here to meet you," the receptionist announced showing them to their seats.

"Thanks, Sarah. Come in Cal, Geoff, would you like a coffee? We're just waiting for a few more people then we'll be on time to start."

"No need to wait for us Zach, we're here," a suspiciously familiar voice said from the doorway.

Cal snapped his head up and turned to the door, his eyes rounding in shock. What the fuck! What's Alex doing here? Who is she? She hadn't seen him yet. He watched her as she rounded the table and was shown a seat, along with her companion.

"Alex, David, I think you've met all of my team," Zach indicated to the other five people around the table. "But I don't think you've met the others." Zach turned to Cal to do the introductions and Alex's gaze followed him, turning ashen when she spotted him. "This is Calvin Knight, CEO of xByte for Europe and this is Geoff Belmont, their CTO."

Cal reached out to shake her hand, feeling like he was in a parallel universe.

"Alex Richmond, CEO and founder of Datamix and this is David Linfante our CFO, joint co-founder, and my business partner," she said, grasping his hand solidly. The slight smile that she had for Geoff now back to a poker face and directed at him. She's a ball-breaker....maybe literally.
