Meeting the group.

Third person POV

Lucas and Megan walk into the class laughing hysterically but unfortunately for them Mrs. Garcia was in class and had started the lesson.

Mr Foster, Miss Christian must I remind that I can send you out of the class Mrs Garcia questioned them feeling irritated by their behaviour. Sorry maam they both whispered.

Melina looks at them and then to Lucas study him from his head to toes. hey Clarissa cuts her from her staring session Hmmm She quickly answers.

You wanted to ask me a question I did yeah "oh yes I did, what's the teacher's name? " Melina asked "oh! Mrs Garcia" Classica replied as she returned to her work.

"Students, we are going to have a play on Romeo and Juliet at the end of the term and so casting would take place next week in the auditorium so if you are interested please see me" Mrs Garcia said a few minutes to the end of the class.

The bell rang, Mrs Garcia left the class before the students. Melina was packing up her things while thinking about the whole thing about Lucas. She looked around and saw Lucas leaving with Megan as they were both talking leaving Melina and Classica behind.

Melina's POV

Finally its time for my favourite subject English I know it I sound weird but ever since I was a child I have been interested in knowing more words, that is why I read a lot of books to improve my vocabulary and expand my imagination.

When Mrs Garcia mentioned the play, I was so happy because I have read Romeo and Juliet like 7 times or more that is how much I love the book. I have also read so many other books but I am particularly interested in romance book because they help me keep my hope about finding love and proving my mom wrong about her perspective.

I was not surprised when my mom didnt support my interest in romance book because after everything she has gone through in life she would obviously not believe in love.

Finally, its has been a long day and the only thing that makes me happy is food, I dont mean to sound like a foodie but today has been really stressful because this is a new environment and it would take some time to adjust, thank God for Clarissa she has been such a good help.

Melina its time for lunch so can we leave Clarissa asked me as she motioned me towards the door sure I replied after I was done packing my back.

so how about your bio assignment Clarissa asked oh that, Mrs Clackson is going to send the details about the project I replied her and returned back to my silence. I was so engrossed about thinking about when he was going to send his address because I do not want to fail my first project just because of my partner.

I check my phone for any messages and thankfully he has sent his address and has requested we start the project tomorrow after school fine by me I replied his text, SOOO who is your partner Clarissa asked as she dragged her words and immediately, I looked away from my phone.

Lucas Foster I replied and to my surprise she gasped Lucas Foster is your partner she asked as she was shocked that Lucas was my partner, I mean what is the big deal.

yes, I just said that but why do you sound so surprise I snapped at her well Miss new girl Lucas is Mr dream boy, like almost every girl has one way or another had a crush on him even I myself had a crush on him in the eighth grade but thankfully he doesnt have a girlfriend and immediately Clarissa finished her sentence I felt some kind of joy in my heart but why I am I happy, he is just a rude person.

em earth to Melina what are you always thinking about Clarissa called me nothing today is just stressful I mean so much work on the first day I replied oh! So when are you guys starting with your project she asked he said tomorrow at his house that he would get the materials ready I replied woah you are going to his house girl you are so lucky she squealed what is the big deal about going to his house I asked well Lucas never invites any to his house excepted people close to him like Megan and maybe the Taylers because they are family friends and they go there for dinner Clarissa responded as we went towards the cafeteria why, he look like Mr popular arent all Mr popular always throwing parties I asked Not this one Clarissa responded as we entered the cafeteria wow, so where are to seat I asked her since she probably already has a place to seat follow me she responded as we went towards a table with some people seated there.

Guys this is Melina, Melina this is Jessica, Kate, Luke, Jake and Fernandez. hi I greeted them and they replied as I took a seat between Clarissa and Jake. So where did you transfer from Jessica asked West Chester I replied as I started having my lunch. Jessica has wavy blond hair with brown eyes and wears glasses while Kate has brown hair with a Gray eye colour, she looks very pretty. Are you American Jake asked No Im Canadian I replied as I took a sip of water cool cool Jake replied.

Guys guess who Melina is working with on the bio project Clarissa asked and immediately bowed my head down as she makes this a big deal. who Fernandez asked, Fernandez is part American part Mexican I mean it is quite obvious from her hair to her skin tone Lucas Foster Clarissa replied as drags her words and immediately all the girls gasped And they are doing the project in his house Clarissa added and they all gasped again. Im sorry but why is this a big deal Jake asked Thank you, that is what I have been telling Clarissa I added oh keep quiet you are just jealous because Jamila turned you down because she likes Lucas Katie replied Jake and we all started laughing Well speak of the devil Lucas is coming Luke told us and immediately they all turned their heads towards their direction.

Melina can I speak with you Lucas asked me and the girls started blushing as if he was talking to them.

He guys I'm back after taking a very long break and now we are going back to business.

so I am going to release a chapter twice a week since I am in quarantine. I hope you guys are washing your hands and social distancing also keep safe and continue reading the Nerds Revenge.
