I have never accepted Hitler's anti-semitic views and racism against the Jews, but he did in fact make Germany great again. Young men like myself have found jobs in the army as part of his remilitarization policies.
My friend, Peter, and I found ourselves in the 1. Panzer-Division on by 1936 and were given training in a Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf. A. It was the beginning of our long journey as tank crew men, fighting for our Vaterland, and our lives.
We would meet friends, foes on this short 9 years but an extremely long and bitter experience, forging strong bonds and bitter rivalry along the way.
But we don't know that now. It's only 1936.
