It's morning and the sun has just risen. I can already hear the songbirds singing and feel the prickling heat of the sun.
For some reason, Today, I woke up really early and now, I just finished my training.
I don't usually train in the early hours of morning and I don't usually end training till after a few hours.
Today feels different. I thought.
I got up from the trunk that I was sitting on and started my way back to my hut when I heard someone.
A girl's voice.
I looked around but all I saw were trees forest and mountains. My mind must be playing tricks on me again.
It's been a few years since I've had some real company and that was the first time I heard someone call me using my loric name.
I shook my head and decided that the voice was just my imagination.
I started walking back home when I heard it again. I turned around and saw no one.
"Who's there!" I shout
No one answered.
Pfft. I knew I was going crazy.
First, impersonating a god and now hearing voices inside my head.
Next, I'll be seeing Mogs in pink girly outfits with pink cannon blasters.
The thought repulses me.
I put the thought aside and shape shifted into a cheetah.
I roared so loud all the birds flew away from their nests.
I started to race down to the forest to where my hut is.
In a matter of seconds, I'm home.
My hut.
My shabby-lookin, small, cozy hut.
My home.
I went inside my small hut and laid down in the hammock. Exhausted.
I just closed my eyes when someone calls my name again.
Louder this time.
I opened my eyes and looked around but no one is there. I checked under the hammock. No one.
Again, I told myself that its all in my head.
I wiped the sweat from my forehead, stood up from my hammock and started to strip my clothes off leaving only my underwear.
Maybe the hot temperature is causing these illusions inside my head.
I went out of my hut and I dived into the waterfalls and just before I hit the lake I shape shifted myself into a swordfish.
I was swimming around along with the other fishes.
Racing and playing with them.
I've been pre occupied swimming that I didn't notice that I ended up swimming in the part where the waterfall and the lake met.
I never swam in this part of the lake before because of the seaweed and algae. Just when I was going to rise up from the water I heard the voice again.
I can hear the voice calling my loric name again and again.
"Eight" she calls out.
I looked around but no one's there. The voice calls me again. Looks like the voice is coming from the bottom of the lake.
