A few hours have passed since I ordered the commander to collect my mysterious visitors and he hasn't returned yet.
'Maybe they really are mogadorians and it was just one of Setrakus Ra's tricks' I thought.
But the vision.  It felt right.
The girl. I had to know.

So more hours have passed and still no sign of them.

I couldn't take it any longer so, I shapeshifted into one of the soldiers and headed towards the place where the soldiers gathered to pray to me. to Vishnu. Whatever.

They called the place the 'Santi' which is hindu for 'Peace'

It's the only place where the soldiers laid their weapons down and lose themselves in worship for Vishnu.

The Santi looks like a large round gazebo with walls made of glass and the flooring is made up of clean white tiles. At the entrance of the gazebo-looking Santi, there are mats with different patterns wherein you could use while you pray. At the center of it, You will see a gold replica of Vishnu.

And then I see him. Sergent Ajit Paal. kneeling and praying inside the Santi.

I approched Sergent Paal and said, "Sir, I have a -uhm-  important message from our lord Vishnu, sir"

"A message soldier?" He asks

"Sir, yes sir. " I say sternly.

"What message, Soldier Setu?" says Segrent Paal

"Lord Vishnu would - er - like to know where the commander and his visitors are... sir" I say.

"And why of all people would Lord Vishnu come to you and ask you to deliver this message, Eh?" He says. Raising his eyebrows.

"I - uh - he - uh....." I cleared my throat and inspiration hits me.
"Lord Vishnu approached me through a vision, sir" I say confidently.

"A vision you say?" The sergent asks

"Sir, yes sir." I say

"What did you see in your vision" Sergent Paal asks. "Can you tell me? You may have misinterpreted our Lord Vishnu's message"

"Sir, no sir" I say. "I-I mean - Lord Vishnu sent the message clearly" I say, trying to hide the irritation in my voice.

'As the Second-in-Command, Soldier, I have access to classified information whereas its top secret or a Soldier's Vision of a Vishnu. So tell me."

For the love of Vishnu, Sergent Paal is a tough nut to crack,..So I tried to look around the Santi, trying to come up of a good story to satisfy the sergent,

"Well?" the sergent says

"I - I was praying... in the vision" I start

"Praying?" asks the commander

"Yes.. Praying.. in the forests.. yeah." I say "When suddenly it started raining.." I say. Thinking of more lies to feed the sergent.

"And then, I saw him. Vishnu."

"What was he doing?" Sergent Paal asks. Looking like a little boy about to open his chirstmas presents.

"I.. I mean, He.. Lord Vishnu.. said he needed me for a grave grave task" I say. Getting the hang of story telling.

"What task?" He says

"He said, Approach Sergent Ajit Paal today. He will be at the center of the Santi when you find him." I say

"Well, we're not exactly at the center." The sergent says, looking around the Santi, "Maybe, if we move a little.." he takes my arms and pulls me to his right. "There." he says. "Now we're at the center." he says. Smiling. "Carry on"

"Oh, uhm" I say, trying to hide my smirk. "Well, he told me to go find you, sir & ask what happened to the commander and his guests, sir." I finish.

"and then what?" he says

"I-I woke up... sir"  I say.

"Hmmm.." he says, rubbing his chin. "And how would you deliver him the message if, let's say, I do decide to tell you what happened to the commander and Our Lord Vishnu?" he asks.

"Uhmmm..." Now, he's got me.

"I'm waiting..." the sergent says mockingly.

"Lo-Lord Vishnu instructed me how to" I say. Trying to come up with a believable lie.

"He-he told to take a - uhm - a rock, sir." I say, trying hard to hide the panic in my voice. A ROCK? Really? Wow, Eight. You've really done it this time. I tell myself.

"A rock?" the sergent repeats. both his eyebrows raised.

"Sir, yes, sir" I say dully

"He told me to - uhm - take a rock located near the santi, sir. and... and..." I say

"And?" he asks

"And to dance around it and he will appear" I say. Okay, I'm doomed. Nice going, Eight. I think

"Get a rock near the Santi and dance before it and Vishnu will appear." he repeats, monotone

"Y-yes, sir" I say. Looking down at my feet. Avoiding the sergent's eyes.

"And did he wanted you to do it personally, or is it okay if I do it myself?" the sergent asks

I look at him incredulously, unable to believe what I heared. Did I - yet again - fool another government official right in the face.

"I - I guess so, sir. I suppose you could do it if you wanted to" I say. Trying hard to conceal the smile forming in my face.

"Very well." Sergent Paal says. "If you don't mind, I would like to finish the task." he says, getting up.

"But, but sir" I protest, "Can I atleast know what happened? So - uhm - you know, the next time Vishnu appears in a vision, I can tell him what happened?' I say.

"I suppose" Sergent Paal says. I sigh in relief.

"They were attacked when the commander had collected Our Lord Vishnu's guests" Sergent Paal says.

"They what?" I say, almost spitting the words out.

"Yes-" Sergent Paal says, wiping the spit off his face. "They were under attack while on the way up here" he finishes

"By whom?" I ask him. Oh no. not mogadorians. Please not those ugly, tall, pale looking freaks. not them.

"By the Lord's Resistance Front" Sergent Paal replies.

I sigh again in relief. the Lord's Resistance Front is another group of worshipers. They are against anyone who worships Vishnu. They basically hate me.

"And? Did they make it alive... sir?" I ask him

"Affirmitive." he says. "They are now on the way, by foot. I believe." he says, standing up. "Now, if you'll excuse me, Soldier. I have something to attend to," he says walking away.
