Exactly as I planned,

I sit on top of a boulder surrounded by a pool of water in my Vishnu form. Still as a statue. When I see them.

The commander followed by three girls and a man.

I couldn't see their faces properly cause I'm concentrating hard on not moving.

"Wait. That's supposed to be Eight? A statue?" I heard the blonde one ask the man.

Commander Sharma started to lecture them on the objects that I was holding and they all approched me and started staring at me.

And then I saw her.

The girl in my vision.

The girl underwater.

And Wow. She's something.

She and the others closed their eyes and right at that moment,

I teleported on top of the jagged wall just above the pool and shapeshifted into Kurma. A half man, half tortoise.

It's showtime. I say.

I dived headfirst into the pool and just before I was gonna hit the water, I teleported in the water.

By this time, Commander Sharma would have explained what they needed to do so they could see me.

I waited for awhile when I hear a splash. I swam near the diver prepared to attack when I saw her again.

The girl in my vision.

I caught myself off guard just by looking at her.

I approach her cautiously when she turns her head and we stood there, staring at each other.

Her mouth hanging open and I the same.

I shook my head and approched her. Her eyes still transfixed in mine.

I'm sorry but I have to do this, I thought.

As gently as I could,

I lunged toward her sending her spiraling backwards.

She regains her balance and started to look for me.

I couldn't help myself.

I teleported right behind her and tapped her shoulder.

She turns around and I winked at her and swinged my left arm at her.

She, surprisingly blocked my attack and kicked me at the chest.

I lost balance and just when I was about to strike her again,

She flips over to my back and wrapped her arms around my neck.

Wow again, I thought

Suddenly, A giant rock starts to move on its own and lunges towards us and just before the rock hits me I teleported back to the top of the jagged rocks and rested for awhile.

I glanced at the lake and saw that the girl had already submerged from the water.

Beautiful and a fighter, I thought

Next, I shapeshifted into Parashurama, the first warrior saint and dived into the pool.

Bracing myself on who I would challenge next.

The blonde girl approaches me

I slowly submerge from the water with an ax in my hand.

I approach the blonde girl with a grunt and swinged my ax at her

The blonde girl leaps automatically. Missing my attack.

She kicks the ax and the ax is split in half.

I stare at the ax dumbfounded.

'Oh' was all I could say.

I swing fist after fist at her and the blonde girl easily avoids them with just a bob and a weave.

Her next move was too quick for me,

she kicked me in the knee and I howl in pain and the next thing I know, she's swinging the ax at me and I teleported immediately to the top of the jagged rocks again.

"Blondes aren't really my type anyways." I say as I massage my knee.

Okay. No more Mr. Nice Guy,

I shapeshift into Narismha, the man-lion and let out a loud roar.

I teleported to the pool and approached the little girl.

Roaring again for the second time.

The little girl stares at me. Eyes wide and mouth open.

The man tried to stop her from fighting me.

But the little girl grabs the man's hand and smiles at him.

"It's okay" she tells him. "I can do this"

And she walks towards me, putting her glasses on.

I swing all ten of Narismha's hands at her, but, surprisingly, she ducks and avoids each one. As if she knew what I was going to do.

And in addition to my surprise, Trees started beating me using their branches. It hit my back. My face. And the tree was diving into me when I couldn't take it any longer.

I teleported to the jagged rocks once more and laid there for a minute.

'They really are the Gardes.'  I tell myself. Smiling.

I stood up. Shapeshifted into my Vishnu form and teleported to the high grass located just behind them.

" - the most powerful incarnations of Vishnu, the man-lion, Narismha. Now, we await Vishnu's arrival." Commander finishes.

"We're done waiting," the man says irritably. Fist clenched by his side. "He better show himself and fast" the man says angrily.

"Chill, chill, chill," I tell him, emerging from the high grass behind the girl from my vision.

"The commander was just following my orders. I was being cautious." I tell them, smiling.

"I've been waiting a long time to meet you."
