Doyoung read the little notes of paper and laughed. "Johnny, what are all these for? I thought we were just going back to the cabin again."

Johnny sent him a bright smile. "We are, but I thought we'd take a trip down memory lane first."

They were finally, finally almost to the cabin after almost an hour driving. Both were excited for this long awaited vacation, but only Johnny was nervous. He tried not to worry too much, because after all they had been together six years now. But still, he couldn't help the sweatiness of his palms. He just hoped his love would ignore it, or better yet not notice it at all.

Doyoung looked back through the notes again and decided to interrupt the calm quietness.

"What's this about me not being very special on the first meeting?" he teased.

"It's not that you aren't special, it's that in the five seconds when I first met you I wasn't very interested. Don't pretend you weren't the same way, you know neither of us believe in love at first sight."

Doyoung sighed dramatically at his boyfriend. "Does it look like I care? You're supposed to always love and support me and saying I'm not special is not supporting me. Even if you said it while you were younger and stupider."

Johnny tried to speak before Doyoung cut him off again with a "Wait! You must have wrote this just the other day or something. Which means you wrote I wasn't special while we're dating. I guess--"

"It's time to break up? No thank you, I'd rather spend all my time with you."

"...You're lucky we've already booked the cabin for a week. Guess we'll have to stay together for now."

"I am really lucky, aren't I?" Johnny spoke, getting softer with each word. Here he was, driving to a beautifully secluded cabin with the love of his life, who he was about to ask to marry him. There might not be anything actually perfect, but this moment of peaceful driving while holding hands with Doyoung was as close to perfect as he needed.
