You're mom had to go through brain surgery, leaving you and your family in fear of what was going to happen. It was about 3 hours in when a dashing guy came out to talk to y'all. You walked up to him to see what was wrong, only to be met with sad eyes.
"Hello my name is Dr. Stephen Strange and your mother survived the surgery, but I'm afraid she did not survive recovery, I am very sorry for your loss." He said, sorrow in his eyes. Everyone was in shock, nobody could believe it, especially you being best friends with your mother. You broke down and latched onto Stephen, tears streaming down your face. This broke Stephens heart, he didn't even know you well, but he never wanted to see you cry again.
You meet again:
It was about a year and a half since your mother died and you were at a coffee shop sketching your mother's favorite flower. The barista dropped off your drink causing you to look up, and find Stephen's eyes.
He knew those eyes, he knew exactly who they belonged to. He would never forget those (y/e/c) eyes, that held so much sadness last time he had saw them. He walked up to you after getting his drink and smiled slightly.
"Hello. You have no reason to remember me, but I am-"

It was him. He watched how focused you are when you draw, or do everyday things, and he loves that about you. Naturally he has to be very focused when he is operating one someone, so finding someone just as focused, lured him in and he fell head over heels.

He was always busy, like ALWAYS busy. So you took it into your own hands to ask him out. So you walked on into the surgical section of the hospital and right up to him as he was filling out paperwork.
"Stephen do you have any surgeries you are doing as of now?" You asked and he shook his head. "Good when's your lunch break?" You asked and a nurse walked passed you.
"His break is now actually, I'll take care of this, you go." She said and took the stuff from him and pushed him towards you. He sighed and mouthed thank you to her, before walking off with you.
"You do realize this is a date right?" You asked him and he laughed.
"I was hoping you'd say this was one." He smiled down at you and walked out of the hospital.

You two didn't do much, just went to a local burger place and grabbed something to eat. He could barely keep his eyes open once you two were driving back to the hospital.
"Stephen how much sleep have you gotten recently?" You asked and parked the car.
"Just enough. I'm very sorry I wasn't more fun at lunch, I promise to make it up to you." He kissed your forehead and got out, before walking into the hospital. Little did you both know this would be the last time he'd walk in there to work.

When you saw him again you were in shock, happiness and confusion hit you at once. "Why was he in such an weird outfit?" You thought as you walked up to him.

It's not much of a surprise that you are an amazing drawer, but what Stephen didn't know is you can draw portraits of people. He figured it out when he was looking through your sketchbook and found his portrait amongst other pictures.
"Did you do this love?" He asked and you blushed hard and nodded.
"Yeah I did.." You said shyly.
"It's beautiful my love, this is absolutely amazing." He said and you blushed harder.
Your fights with him:
He is very level headed, at least he likes to think that, but fights break out they are usually about him not being home enough and you being worried for him. He argues that he needs to make the money, then you argue that you need him and you miss him. Which leads to him sighing and hugging you tightly, letting you cry softly into him.

You say before blushing a bit.

Something happened and last thing you remember was Stephen on a surgical table. You were stressed to say the least. Not to mention weird stuff was happening around the place you were standing. Whatever had happened to him, he was okey now and you felt a bit better, you never felt that amount of stress before and you realized you just can't let something happen to him without telling him how you feel. You walked up to him tears in your eyes and you kissed him hard. "I love you Stephen, please don't do that again.."
"Do what love?" He asked in shock a bit.
"Almost die on me." You said and a tear slipped down your face, and he lifted up your face to meet his.
"I love you too (Y/n) and I promise I'll try not to almost die again." He smiled and so did you.
