"Your First Date" Part. 2

~THOR ODINSON~

"Lady Y/n!" Thor boomed as he walked into your apartment, not caring for social etiquette or privacy. "I have brought some more pop tarts!" He cheered, slamming the door closed behind him aggressively and greeting you with a tight hug.

You let out a squeak in response. "Hey, Thor. How are you?" You wheezed just as he let you go from his suffocating (literally) grip. You grabbed the box of pop tarts and put them in the kitchen cupboard.

"I am quite well, Lady Y/n." He beamed charmingly. "I have a question to ask you however." Thor said as he stepped towards you and swiftly cupped your face with his hands. "Would you like to go out on a date with me?" He mumbled breathily, his eyes staring into your own with hope and passion laced into the pretty blue.

You let out a subconscious whimper at his actions but found yourself able to speak and stuttered the response; "I-I'd love to." A blush coated your cheeks, your body heating rapidly and a smile gracing your lips.

"Are you ready, Lady Y/n?" Thor pondered as he knocked on your door, popping his head around the wood and peering at your form.

"Just a second." You shooed with a laugh, waving the god away and finished up your look. You smiled to yourself confidently as you opened the door to meet Thor waiting patiently. "How do I look?" You asked with a weary yet hopeful grin.

Thor stood silently for a few seconds, his mouth agape in shock. He let out a trembled breath before weakly regaining himself. "Absolutely stunning, Lady Y/n." He breathed, unable to take his eyes off your angelic beauty. "Now shall we go?" He finished, offering his arm like a true gentleman.

You nodded excitedly and gladly linked your arms together.

~LOKI LAUFEYSON~

Everyday you would go to the same library and sit in the same corner, every time with a new mythological book, and everyday Loki would come and sit with you - sometimes even input his own experiences when you would study Norse mythology. While most conversation topics were directed towards your work, there were rare instances where you would talk personally. However the majority of your time together was sitting in silence and reading together, basking in each other's unique atmosphere. It was a nice dynamic that you had no problem with.

However, today was different. There wasn't a Loki. You thought at first that he was perhaps running late, but after an hour you came to the conclusion that he wasn't coming. You were finishing up reading upon Persian mythology quickly, seeing no reason to hang around to your usual time when there was no Loki to converse with. You headed to your car with the simple thought of just heading home and getting into the shower.

You ran a hand through your hair, diverting your gaze from the view in front of you for just a moment. Once returning your eyes, they were met with a signature green that you could never forget. Your brows furrowed in confusion as you stepped towards Loki.

"Y/n, I am sorry I did not make it today." He confessed sincerely with a regretful bow of his head. "But I have something else I believe you would like to go to." He sucked in a tight breath, expressing his nervousness evidently. He pushed the hesitant emotions to the side and grabbed your hand with his, and before you could even blink, you were in Rome.

The Colosseum shone in the twinkling stars above, the fine stone having no destruction of modern day. Your mouth opened in shock, twirling and admiring the scene you were suddenly in. Your gaze switched to below you. You had been changed from your hoodie and jeans. You were suddenly dressed in long white toga, an emerald green sashay crossed over your chest as well as a black shawl hung over your head - traditional roman clothing. Your hair was let loose from it's messy ponytail and cascaded down your back magically. You turned to look at Loki with wide eyes, admiring his own look. It almost matched your own, however he bore more layers and did not wear the head shawl. But you both coordinated with each other color-wise.
