Missing the babies

Elena thought she would be alright relaxing and spending time with her husband alone in the house but she found herself distracted.  Looking at photos on her phone while he tried to keep his wife occupied with his body.  Chris noticed the sadness in her eyes and asked "Babe?  What's wrong?  I thought you wanted this?"  Elena sighed staring at photos of her kids "I miss them.  I want them to come back home.  I do appreciate that you tried.  I guess being a mom is the most important thing I could ever do.  Please call her and tell my friend to bring the kids back." 

Chris dialed Elena's phone and listened to it ring... a voice picked up "Hello?  Is everything alright?"  Chris responded with a sigh "Kristy?  Elena wants the kids back home.  She lasted a day and a half without them.  I miss them too to be honest."  Kristy was about to feed them before he called so she told him "I will quick feed them and then bring them back unless she really can't wait.  Or should I say you can't wait."  Chris thought about her comment and realized maybe he was missing them more than his wife was.  He had dreamt of being a father for so long and they were twins... his twins.  His miracle twins.  Kristy heard his tone and said "Okay, never mind... I will bring them back now and you guys can feed them yourselves." 

Moments later, Chris walked out of the bedroom and opened the front door to grab his babies from Kristy.  Elena heard crying and screaming so she put on clothes and walked out to see her hungry little ones.  She talked gently to both of them and smiled giving them bottles.  Chris helped with Bella.  Elena fed her son Christopher.

Kristy had gone back home to be with her family and Chris helped change diapers with Elena. As much as they loved being alone together, they had both realized how much their babies meant to them.

After two months of spending every moment with the babies, Elena got this opportunity to audition for a movie role.  Starring as a strong woman who winds up falling for a complete stranger amid a great disaster.  Not having any clue who this man would be, she did her best hoping it would work. 

During the call backs she walked into the lot and noticed a very handsome man walking out.  She recognized his hair but didn't see his face.  She later would ask "Babe?  Are you going to be playing the role of Jack?"  Chris looked at his wife wondering how she knew to ask that "Well it's not exactly certain yet.  It's between me and one other guy.  Why do you ask?" 

Elena laughed a little "Well because I just got cast as the role of Emily."  Chris wanted this role even more than before and picked up the twins excitedly "Hey my little babies... mommy is going to be in a movie."  Just then his phone buzzed and Elena looked at the screen "Daddy is going to be playing mommy's boyfriend."  Chris realized the message was alerting him to his successful audition.  Bella looked up at him and smiled while CR was smiling at his mama.  They were so ecstatic to work together in a new way and decided to celebrate!

The film was to be titled "Nature's rules" and Emily was this woman who felt she could do anything on her own and didn't need help from a man... that is until a terrible disaster strikes and she is trapped underneath rubble. Along comes Jack, a handsome single man who isn't looking for a woman but when he rescues Emily, they both realize that you should never be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and ask for help. Help from being stubborn and help from being "alone" all the time.
