Chapter 10

Kathryn's POV

I soon arrived at the hotel and ate right away because I was really really hungry. I met a new friend yesterday, by the way. Her name's Vanessa Linda but then we exchanged numbers and she told me that we'll just see each other around the campus or something. So, I opened my Instagram account and searched for Vanessa's username. I found it and i stalked her for a while. After that, the telephone rang and my mom answered it. I then sat on the couch and had a really really weird feeling about this night. It was getting dark so I decided to change into my onesie, which was very fluffy.

"Alright, it's okay. can come over" I overheard my mom. She was smiling and she told me that someone was coming over, someone from the Philippines. I was kind of excited because what if it was Julia!! I became super hyper. As soon as I fixed myself and clean my room (since it was really messy), I went back to the living room and watched a movie. Oh and why did I forget about popcorn? I went up again and got popcorn. Just when I was about to sit down, the doorbell rang. I ran for the door and shit. Breathe Kath, breathe.

"Oh, it's you" I said, blankly.

"Well yeah, surprised?" he replied,

"What brings you here?"

"I came over to check on you. I searched everywhere and--"

"Oh DJ!! You're here!" my dad said

"Yes, hello good evening tito"

My dad gave him a manly hug and my mom invited him over. We sat for a while on the couch and talked about things and happenings in the Philippines. Man, I missed a lot. After the quick interview (I guess lol), my parents went out for a while, leaving the two of us in the hotel room. DJ sat beside me and I leaned back on the couch just to maximize the space behind me. He stretched his arm around me, causing me to lean closer to him.

"I missed you" he whispered, but I didn't reply. I just wanted this moment to last forever.

"Hey kath," he said once again.

"What are you doing here, Daniel?" I asked, finally.

"You were really cold to me and we lost contact with each other. I didn't know what to do. So as soon as I heard that I have a movie to be filmed in Paris, I immediately thought of you. I contacted everyone and everywhere. I've been worried about you, Kath. I thought you were coming back, until I heard that you were going to study here." he said seriously, but calmly.

I hugged him and I cherished the moment with him. He hugged me back and we stayed like that for a while. I just loved how he looks at me, hugs me and does whatever it takes to be with me. I just can't imagine life without DJ. He's so sweet, and charming, my ideal guy, to be exact. But then one question hit me.

"Who am I to you, Kath?" I kept thinking about us. or if there was even an 'us'

"You're a very important friend to me, DJ."

I got shocked because he stood up and was ready to go.

"Did I say something wrong?" I asked him.

"Look Kath, I never knew that I was JUST a friend to you. If you ask me? You are my everything. You make me smile each and everyday. Never did I stopped thinking about you. I missed you, Kath. I missed the sweet and crazy Kathryn. I missed your hugs and when I'm not with you, I'm weaker. You are not just an ordinary fangirl I met. You are the best thing that ever happened to me. I don't know what to feel anymore. When you're not around, I feel incomplete. You are a part of my life and you will always be a part of me. I don't know man, I really really like you, Kath. Don't you understand?!"

I didn't know what to do. I just stood there as he kissed my forehead quickly and said "I love you"

He walked towards the door and said goodbye. I was still in shock and I couldn't move from where I was standing. If you only knew, DJ.
