Chapter 14

The ride back home was rather,silent.

But at least I knew that she was still in good terms with me.

Speaking to someone really helped my inside world,and finally got to tell her the full story.

But now,it was time to fix my mistakes and find my son.

"Vincent?"

Her voice made me snap out of my thoughts as I closed the driver's door,and we walked towards my house.

"Are you sure you want to go alone?I am willing to come with you."

I couldn't help but smile,unlocking the front door.

"There is no need.But if i do change my mind I will let you know."

She returned the smile,entering the house and letting herself fall on the couch.

"It is so weird how just some hours ago you didn't want to see me and now we are back to normal."

She slightly sat up,lowering her head with a sigh.

"I am sorry just." Her voice trailed off,avoiding my eye contact."I guess I should have given you a chance to talk."

My hand carefully ruffled her hair,making her softly giggle.

"Don't worry about it.I have learned to forgive."

My body sat next to hers,and she grabbed the remote turning the TV on.

"Oh!The Immortal and the Restless!I am going to make popcorn!" She said with excitement,standing up and walking towards the kitchen.

I chuckled,turning my body and looking back at her.

She hummed,opening a cabinet and taking a big bowl,as she was searching for the popcorn bag.

My heart thumped against my chest.

I slightly gripped the couch,softly heavy breathing.

Oh God,no,this is not a good time to have your feelings emerge.

Her eyes looked over to me,slightly chuckling.

"Why are you looking at me like that silly?"

I blinked,my dark cheeks slightly blushing as I gazed away at the glass screen of the TV.

She returned back to the couch,sitting next to me as she rested the bowl on her lap.

"I may be undead,but you're heartless!"The vampire said to the blonde woman.

"You need to see your son!"

"The baby isn't mine!"

"He ate the cat!" She said pointing at the baby who had a cat tail in his mouth.

"Sounds like something he got from your side of the family!"

The woman frowned."Well how's this? I'm keeping the diamond ring."

"The joke's on you! I found it in a kids meal!"

She gasped,looking at him with glistening eyes."You bought a kids meal? Oh, Vlad!"

"Clara!"The vampire smiled and wrapped his arms around the female figure,kissing her with passion.

I stuffed my mouth with the last pieces of popcorn,as I couldn't help but be confused.

"That was the end?" The woman next to me questioned,as I noticed she was as confused as me.

I grabbed the remote to turn it off,but suddenly the narrator spoke.
