Rosalind's PoV:
"Rosalind, wake up, we're here. You're home." I slowly woke up and stretched. Maria looked at me and smiled.
"Thank you." I said and walked out of the car, and she followed me to the door. I opened it and walked in, signalling her to follow.
"Hello? Gramps? Mac? Dad?" I shouted, and the same second as I did so Mac came running around the corner. I ran to him and hugged him. Gramps came to and joined in on our hug.
"We were so worried about you, where have you been?" Gramps said, almost crying.
"She had been kidnapped by some people that thought she was someone else. And two of our agents found her and brought her to us, and we brought her here." Maria said and I turned to her.
"Then I guess a thank you is in order." He walked over to her and shook her hand.
"Thank you, for bringing Rosalind home to us again."
"Anytime, have a nice life Rosalind." She smiled at me.
"Thank you for everything. And I will." I smiled back, remembering the last words Fury had said to me. "And don't tell ANYONE about what you have seen today, don't mention my agents! Got it?" Just thinking about him gave me goosebumps.
"Where's Dad?" They looked at me like question marks.
"James, where's James?"
"He's out at work, I'm sorry." Gramps said with a sad face.
"Come on, lets get you to bed." Gramps said, obviously noticing how tired I am.
I went to bed and fell asleep instantly.

The next morning i walked down to breakfast, and found Mac and Gramps waiting for me.
"Morning Rosalind."
"Morning Ro."
"Morning guys."
"Do you have anything planned for today?" Gramps asked.
"Yes, I'm actually gonna try riding Dusty for the first time today. I'm so excited!"
"I don't want you going alone, and I don't have the time today. I'm sorry." I couldn't believe it, he was gonna have me stay home.
"Well, Luna is definitely gonna be there, and so is Filib. And I can go with her, so she won't be alone. And I'm sure Boze would love to come to." Mac said and gramps looked at him for a long time, before he smiled widely.
"Good, I was hoping for you to say that. Go and have fun."
"Thanks gramps." We cheered.
As we finished our breakfast, Mac told me to go get dressed and that he would clean up. I ran upstairs and changed into my riding clothes, and ran back downstairs.
"You ready?" Mac asked.
"Yeah, I just need to pack my..."
"Here." He tossed me my stable bag, I opened it to find mine and Mac's water bottle filled up plus one extra, lunch for four people and some apples.
"Thanks Mac." We walked out and bicycles over to Bozer's place and nocked.
"Hi Boze, wanna join us to the stables. Rosie is gonna ride Dusty for the first time today."
"I wouldn't miss it for the world." He said and went inside and put on his shoes and yelled.
"Bye mom!" And closed the door.
We bicycled through the woods and made it to the stables in no time.
"Welcome home Rosie." Filib said greeting us.
"Thanks."
"You ready to ride today?"
"You bet I am." I grinned.
"Then go get him ready, I'll get the riding arena ready for you." I nodded and ran over to Dusty's pasture, and Dusty lifted his head and trotted over to me.
"Hi boy, did you miss me?" He nickered in return.
"I think that means yes." Mac said and patted Dusty. Dusty has accepted both Mac and Bozer, since they had been with me to the stables quite often.
We took Dusty out to brush him and saddle him. Then we took him to the arena where Filib, Luna and Bility were waiting.
"Ro! You're okay!" She threw herself in my arms and I almost fell, but Dusty moved so he was supporting me.
"I'm so ready to go on a ride with you, Bility and Dusty." I said and Luna agreed.
"Oh, that's nice, I hadn't thought about that." She replied and walked back to Bility. I led Dusty to the center of the arena, and he stood perfectly still while I got on.
"There you go, you are officially Dusty's trainer." Filib said, and I felt my heart burn, but in a good way, and I leaned forward and petted Dusty on his neck. I carefully pressed my thighs in, and he responded instantly.
We had walked for quite a while when Filib spoke.
"You can try trotting now." I carefully pressed my thighs again, and he started trotting.
"Well done, you two work perfectly together." Filib said.
We trotted a while longer before Filib spoke again.
"And now you can try canter." I once again pressed my thighs against his side, and he responded instantly. We galloped around the track, and I have never felt more free. After a few rounds Dusty steered right into the jump in the middle of the arena.
"Ro, you're not ready for this." Luna called from the sideline.
"I have to agree with Luna, Rosalind. I don't think you're ready yet. Stear him away from the jump." Filib said.
"I'm trying, but he won't listen."
"Then put your heels down, visualise your jump. And lean forward over the jump." Filib explained, and I did what I was told. Dusty and I flew over the jump, and landed safely on the other side of it.
"That was amazing, did you see how we flew?" I called to the others.
"Well done guys, you looked wonderful." Filib said and walked over to us.
"You always know, don't you boy."
He said and petted Dusty on the neck, then he turned to me.
"Do you wanna try some more jumps?"
"I would love to."
"Good, we have a trail full of jumps. Why don't you and Luna take your horses through that?"
"Okay." Both Luna and I said, and rode out there.
"Okay, So you follow the track and jump over the obstacles. If you're unsure about where the track goes, look for blue marks on the trees. You ready?" Luna said.
"As ready as I'll ever be." I replied, and Luna urged on Bility. I did the same with Dusty.
"Let's do this boy." I said to him, and he started galloping. We ran through the woods and flew over jumps, and after a while of this freedom, I saw a huge jump up ahead.
"Hold on Rosie." I heard a voice in my head say. I did as the voice said and leaned forward. When we landed again I heard the voice again.
"Well done, you're a natural." This time I stopped Dusty and looked around.
"Who's there? Who's speaking to me?"
"It's me, Dusty. So far only Filib have heard me, and now you." Said the voice again.
"Dusty? Are someone messing with me?"
"No, my dear princess. It's not a trick, you're special." I thought about it for a second.
"So I can speak with my horse, that's awesome!"
"Hehe, as far as I know, you can speak with any horse. Filib can, but I don't know if you can."
"This is so cool, do you think I can tell Luna?"
"At the moment I don't think you should tell anyone except those you truly trust with anything. The day you were washing me, two people stood nearby and watched you. And now recently, you were taken away."
"You're right, but I do trust Luna with all my heart. But for now, this will be our little secret." I said and petted him on the neck.
"You got it, I won't tell Filib then. But we should start moving again, so they don't wonder where we are." He replied and we continued on the course. When we finished, they were all waiting, except for Filib.
"We waited for a while, so that we didn't catch up with you and crashed." I lied, and it looked like they bought it.
"Nice save Princess." Dusty nickered and I chuckled.
"Good boy." I said and petted him. Filib came over to us and handed me a piece of paper.
"It's a cross country competition in two weeks after school start, Luna is already assigned to compete for this stable along with Dan on Ofelia. I was supposed to ride Dusty, but I'm happy to sit this one out. Would you be interested in competing instead of me?"
"I don't know..."
"Oh come on Rosie, it's gonna be fun. Please?"
"Please Ro, we can compete together. We'll be a team."
"All right, I'll do it."
"Congratulations, team training is every Wednesday at five. See you then." He said and walked away.
"Gramps called, dinner is almost done. An he wanted us to come home, Luna, you and Bozer were welcome to join us."
"Ooh, yes please. We just have to take care of the horses first." We walked them to the grooming station and brushed the sweat off as good as we could. And the we put them in the big pasture, since they had become such good friends, they were standing together.
"Bye Dusty, see you tomorrow!" I called.
"Bye my princess!" He neighed back, and with that we all walked home to dinner.
