I sit down in my usual computer and un load my things, ready for class to begin.

I'm literally so fucking nervous. Why? Brody even said he told Jax to talk to me. By the look on his face when I threw a fit and walked off, I don't think he will even look at me.

Wait. Did he even know I was in this class?
What the fuck is wrong with me, of course he doesn't know.

I literally shrink into my chair when Jax walks in scanning the room, his eyes lock on mine and he smiles walking towards me. Shit.

"Princess. I enjoyed watching you stomp away with those tight pants on, you know how to get my attention." He flashes his winning smile.

"Uhm. Thanks? I guess. I've worn these pants before today and it didn't seem like you noticed!" My words are so sarcastic I couldn't help but laugh at myself.

"Feisty. I like it." He smiles. Stop it, damn.

"What do you want, Jax?"

"Can I just sit with you?"

"Ok? It's a free country"

He smiles and I coo inside. No he is only talking to you because Brody told him to. Stop falling for it.

Jax doesn't even type anything all class. He literally stares at his phone the entire class period. I'm trying to concentrate but no matter how many times I try to focus I get a smell of cinnamon and cigarettes. I fucking hate cigarettes.

The bell rings dismissing us. Typing was my last class of the day and so I need to walk to the beautiful houses right outside of the school for my foster dad, Sam to pick me up. I have to work tonight, closing shift.

I'm walking down the building stairs when I notice that smell again and I look up. Jax is hovering over me walking with me.

"What are you doing?" I snap

"Can I walk you to your road?" He asks, his eyes are blue and I could swim in them. He smiles. Damn it. I blush away as if he heard what I was thinking.

"Why? So you can go back to Brody and tell him you got me to bat my eyelashes and coo? You guys are playing with me and I don't like it." I sound so...hurt. And he can tell I am hurt.

He touches my elbow slightly. "Just let me walk you, I go this way too. I've seen you walking there. My dad picks me up."

I got shivers from his touch but I pull away uncomfortable.

"Sure. If you are going that way already."

We walk in silence across campus.

"So, Brody said you are going to Gainesville. How does he know that?" I'm surprised by his question.

"I think you should ask Brody. It's not my place to tell you."

"Ok, fair. Listen, I'm having a party tonight. Say you'll come." It was more of a demand than a question.

"I can't." Laughing at that ridiculous ideas.

"You can." He laughs.

"No like I really can't. I work tonight. I close."

"Ah, the Coffee House in the mall." What.

"How'd you know? Stalking?" I tease. It's strange am I flirting?

"You wish, Princess." He nudges me and I laugh out loud a little.

"You should smile more." He wraps his arm around me. "It's the cutest thing I've seen all day."

I have never had anyone put their arms around me and here he is. Leather jacket and sea blue eyes. Damn.

What am I even thinking. No way does Jax like me. This is Brody toying with my emotions yet again.

I walk up and don't see Sams car yet. Jax takes his arm from around me and walks towards a car.

He turns around and gives me his winning smile.

"Maybe my next party you'll be there. See ya tomorrow, Princess." He just winked.

As his dad drives off I can feel the heat on my cheeks and a knot in my belly.

Sams car finally pulls up and I get in the car. I turn to ask him about his day, when I come face to face with.....Brody.
