Without Kristina knowing, Kyle actually talked to her brothers. He went to their house not just to personally ask if she could attend his first gig but to clear his intentions and ask for their blessing to formally court her. Her brothers gave him few points and warn him about a lot of things but mostly about not hurting her, he didn't promise not to make her cry but he told them that he'll do everything he can to protect her the way they did and for them that's enough. That's why they agreed that he can as long as it's okay with Kristina and with that, Kyle only needs one thing—timing.
