Cläo ♡
I sat down pulling my dress down my thighs as it keeps rising up. Shawn texted me last Saturday, he told me to scratch coffee and go for dinner at a fancy Filipino restaurant.
I dont know if he did that knowing I'm Filipino or it's a spot he likes to go to, probably both.
I sigh looking down at my watch, he should be here any minute. I didn't feel comfortable letting a stranger know where I live so I suggested meeting up just to be smart.
I look around the restaurant, it was for sure a very beautiful spot, the walls were a very beautiful black, gold curtains were open and it added decor to the tall windows which showed up the view of Toronto, dimmed gold lights slightly lit up the restaurant.
"Hey, would you like to place an order?" A waiter asked, her eyes were kind and apologetic it was only then that I realised I've been waiting for half an hour for Shawn to arrive.
"No thank you, I'm just waiting for my date to arrive." I sigh. She nods her head, smiles, then leaves.
Maybe he's stuck in traffic, waiting a little more wont hurt.
An hour passes.
An hour and a half ...
I look around seeing the sympathetic smiles from the rich elders that looked my way, a group of girls sent me a sad smile.
'Maybe hes got in accident, what if hes not okay?' I keep asking myself, my anxiety increases as I think of all the possibilities.
I search through my purse for my phone, looking up 'shawnmendes' on Instagram. Not even bothering to look at his follower count I press right onto his story.
A photo of Shawn and a couple of guys smiling cheerfully, with shots of what can only be alcohol in there, covers the screen of my phone.
He stood me up.
Rolling my eyes, I grab my purse and leave the entire venue. I've never felt so used, I'm mortified. I can only imagine what people must've been thinking whilst I sat there waiting for someone who never planned to show up.
A tear rolls down my eyes as I leave the restaurant, too busy to care that the rain will ruin my hair, I keep walking.
"Damn Shawty!" A man whistles from behind me, I ignore him and carry on my walk to my car.
My body tenses at the feeling of a slap on my behind, anger courses through my veins, I turn right around knocking the man to the ground with a punch to his nose.
The sound of chuckling catches my attention, I turn my head to see a man, a handsome man if that matters.
his hair is a jet black, his jaw is sharp and defined, his eyes a beautiful crystal blue, his height and physique only added to his handsome-ness. I tried not too stare for too long but I'm positive he caught on.
The scrawny man which assaulted me had already ran away from me, I almost laughed at the cowardness when the handsome man speaking cut me off.
"You ever though of boxing? You can land a good punch."
I laugh.
"Well when your dad is Samuel Sanders you kind of pick up a few things." I keep my distance from this guy, I dont know him, I dont trust him. No matter how gorgeous he is.
"No way?! Samuel Sanders! He's a legend in the boxing world."
I've never let anyone know of my dad's fame, except Hanna, and this man for some reason.
The laughter dies down and I felt an urge to introduce myself, "Cläo." I smile, holding my hand out.
"Antonio." He shakes my hand, a kind smile on his face. His eyes roam mu body for less than a second but I caught on, its only fair since I checked him out for a solid ten seconds.
Antonio. Why does that name sound so familiar... ?
A/n Shawn is a dick lmao.
Whatd you think of this Antonio guy? Should he stick around for longer?
