Cläo laughed for what felt like the 50th time as Antonio cracked another joke.
Conveniently, the restaurant held a bar in which Antonio bought her a drink, and another and another. It's safe to say they're both more than slightly drunk.
"You really do look like someone I know, i cant place my finger on it." She slurred.
"Antonio Versini. He's a ... businessman." Shawn slid in the stool on Cläos right.
"You're 4 hours late." Cläo rolls her eyes along with a sigh, she didn't bother looking at Shawn, instead, focusing her gaze on Antonio's dazzling blue eyes.
Shawn frowned, glaring at Antonio. He then looks back at Cäo, for a quick second he could see the sadness in her eyes but she quickly covers it up before he could even decipher what it was.
"I know and for that I'm sorry-"
"I dont care for apologies. Come on Antonio, he's ruined my buzz." She takes his hand and the two walk away, leaving Shawn with a heavy feeling in his chest.
The waiter that previously 'waited' on Cläo walks up to shawn, an annoyed expression on her face.
He raises her eyebrows at her stare. "That girl. She waited for like two hours, dude. Sat on her own. You let a really good one slip." She shakes her head in disappointment then leaves him alone with his thoughts.
You let areally good one slip. The sentence repeated in his head over and over again, it was driving him insane. He gulped down drink after drink, angrily, he grabs his jacket and places a generous tip on the bar before stumbling out the building
He opens the door to his Jeep and sits, his vision was blurred and his head felt mushy.
Starting the car, he speedily gets out the driveway and takes the first exit out the round about. He fails to indicate when turning, the sight of a black car coming at the side of his car in full speed.
"Cläo."
Then he blacked out.
