“Alright, Suzuki.”
Having his hand in mine, we both appeared inside of a room. I’m assuming this is his room. He patted a part of his bed next to him. I don’t think I should sit on his bed. I mean, I did trust him enough to take his hand to go to the unknown though.
I hesitantly sat down next to him. He yawns. “Your uniform has some tears in it, I can go get my needle and thread to-“
I shook my head. “No. It’s fine. I don’t think I’ll be going to that school ever again anyways.” I sighed, I regret how I acted in the past.
“Are you sure? There are creeps at night, they might try to check you out or something.“ He put his hands behind his head, laying down on his pillow.
“I can just run to my place. I’ll be fine, but..t-thank you.“
He raised a brow. “Why do you have trouble saying thank you, and like I said before, there’s no need for a thank you.“
I let a small breath out. “Sorry. I never said that before, it just feels weird. In my head, there was no need for being nice to others.“
He sat up. “It’s kinda hard to believe that since you’re so polite. Are you sure you didn’t damage your head during that fall?“
I nodded. “I’m fine. I would just like the medicine if you have it.“
He got up and went to his drawers. He pulled out a couple of things like a… blue cardboard pic axe? I looked out his window.
“Hey, where are we exactly?“
“My room, duh.“
“I mean building wise.“
He chuckled. “Why, are you going to stalk me next?“ I shook my head quickly.
“My intentions are to not stalk you. It’s just that I’m curious.“
“Just my dumb dad's building. He owns it acting like he runs everything, so obnoxious.“
Oh. So I’m guessing he isn’t on good terms with his dad. It’s none of my business. I should just stay out of that.
“Ah, here they are, I thought they got taken out for a second there, heads up!“
Heads up? I put my head up, getting hit in my nose with the pill bottle. Ow. He showed a bit concern in his eyes, walking over to me.
I held my nose. “Hey, why didn’t you catch it?“ He asked, taking my hand off my nose to check it out.
“I don’t get it. You said “heads up”. I put my head up.“ I looked down. It seemed like he wanted to laugh.
“I can’t tell if you’re just trying to mess with me or not-“
“No. I’m not trying to mess with you. I generally thought I meant to put my head up. I’m so-“
“If you say sorry or thank you one more time to me, I might just have to throw you out the window.“ He grinned.
I got up off his bed, taking my hand away from his. I got into fighting stance. “If it’s a fight you want-“
“BAHAHAHAHAHAAHA”
Why does he laugh at me so much? I don’t see what’s funny about fighting. “It was a joke, here come sit back down, I’ll get you a glass of water.“
I went back to his bed, watching him as he dissolved away into the air. I put my hands on my lap, looking around his room more.
There are a lot of drawings. Maybe he likes painting? There was a knock on his door. “Shou. Open your door now. Stop being an edgy teenage boy.“
Oh. The man’s voice was deep. What do I do? Didn’t he say he hated his dad? He also said that this is his dad’s building. It would be mean to not open the door for him, and I want to be nice now.
I got up and opened his door. The man had weird eyebrows and short, dark red hair. He’s weird looking, but I’ve seen weirder.
“Who might you be?“ He stepped closer to me. He’s a bit intimidating. Suzuki came back with the water in his hand. He scoffed and rolled his eyes.
“What are you doing here?“ Suzuki asked… the older Suzuki? He put the water down on his small desk.
“I could ask the same for her. She’s an ESPer too-“
“UGH! Get out, it’s my room, she’s my friend too, not your petty little workers.“
Should I just go? “Don’t raise your voice at me. It doesn’t matter to my extent anyways. She doesn’t seem strong enough for my tea-“
“Get out. Get out. GET OUT.“ Suzuki pushed his father out of his room, locking the door on him. He mumbled words under his breath, stomping towards his bed.
“I’m sorry for opening the door without bothering to ask you.“ He turned his attention back to me.
“Hey, it’s fine, not your fault my dad is a big moron. Oh and what did I say about saying all that sorry crap?“ He smirked.
“Oh yeah, sorr-“ I was suddenly lifted up. I pulled my skirt down quickly.
“What are you doing?!“ I yelled. He just kept that smirk on his face.
“I’m not gonna throw you out the window, but I will make you suffer a bit.” he laughed, shaking me around a tiny bit.
“This is not funny Suzuki, put me down, I could easily do the same to you-“
“Ain’t being demanding kinda being mean? I thought you were nice-“
“I’ll show you nice!“ I put my hand up now lifting him up across from me. He has the biggest grin on his face.
“I’m glad you don’t have a stick up your ass 24/7.“
Stick up my ass? People have sticks up their asses? That’s odd, but I’m not going to question it.
“I am glad I don’t have a stick up my ass too. That would be painful, wouldn’t it be?“ He sighed, smiling, putting me back down to his bed, as did I with him.
“Here, take these with the water.“ He handed me two pills with a glass of water… his fingers are in the water. Who holds water like that?
“I’m not going to thank you because you hate that, but I appreciate your kindness.“ I bowed, taking the medicine.
“Yeah yeah, it’s fine. You were fun to hang out with anyways, I never laughed that much in a while, thanks.“
I put my hand on his hair. He looked very confused. “Suzuki, please do not thank me. If I can’t thank you, do not thank me.“
He nodded lightly with a bit of pink on his face. “Yeah, got it. Don’t call me Suzuki either, just call me Shou.“
“Okay. Then please call me (Y/N) so the favor is returned.”
“Alright, (Y/N), wanna play something? I got a playst-“
I gasped a bit. I just realized something. “Shou. I am very sorry, but I have to apologize to someone. If you would like, you could give me your phone number.“ I pulled out my Obama phone, handing it to him.
“AN OBAMA PHONE?!“ He cracked up. I stole it from some old man a year back. I needed a phone since they looked cool to have.
He typed his number in with the contact of “Yo boi Shou😎😉”
He did not spell boy right. Oh well.
“I’ll see you again, right? Do you need me to bring you back?“
“I promise you will see me again if you need me. I owe you for this, but no, just open the window up.“ I pointed at the window.
He opened his window slightly, and before he knew it, I was gone and out of there like a flash.
Now I need to apologize to Kageyama.
