Ashton and Bryana's engagement party was on the Sunday night, at the place where Luke worked because he could get it cheaper for the party. There were loads of people there, people from Bryana's work, and Ash's too, people from high school and all of their families. Luke has brought Reece along because when Luke had told him Reece had been super happy for Ashton and that he'd finally popped the question.

Luke was standing by his parents, talking to them about how Ashton had asked Bryana to be his fiancé (had taken her down to the beach which had a candle lit dinner), when Calum came over to put his arm around Luke's waist, Luke didn't have enough time to even process t before Calum was kissing his cheek, "hey baby." He said. Right in front of Luke's parents, and in view of Calum's parents and sister.

Calum's parents came over, "when did this start?" Joy asked them.

Luke gasped, "it's not real," he said quickly. Luke looked around to make sure Reece wasn't near by, and when he knew he wasn't, he turned back to the parents, "were fake dating so I can try and make Reece jealous, because I like him." Luke told them briskly, anxious that they'd think Calum and he were really together.

Liz shook her head, "Luke you should've told Reece you liked him."

"I tried," Luke frowned, "but I chickened out."

Joy sighed, "Calum are you okay with this?" She asked her son.

"It was my idea, so yeah." Calum shrugged.

Joy huffed, just as Liz sighed, Liz shook her head, "fine, go have fun making Reece sad."

"I will." Like smiled, and then he turned and left to go find Reece who was talking to Michael. "Sorry I left, I completely forgot I hadn't told my mum and dad about Calum and I, she was confused," Luke said quickly.

"It's fine." Reece smiled "can we go say congrats to Ash and Bryana?" He asked.

Luke nodded and they found Ashton and Bryana who had just finished taking to some people that Ashton worked with. When they walked over Bryana noticed them first, Reece's eyes met her and he grinned, "Hey, congratulations guys!"

"Thank you so much." Bryana beamed, her smile just as bright as her engagement ring. "I don't think we've met." She said to Reece, she could tell he knew Luke and that was it, Ash had mentioned him in passing. "I'm Bryana."

"I'm Reece, Luke's friend, I just moved here not long ago." He told her.

"That's cool, have you settled in?" She questioned.

Reece hummed, "Yeah, Luke's helped me settle, he's been helping me decorate and furnish so I should be good now."

Bryana smiled, "I'm glad, have you got a partner?" She asked because she didn't know where Reece swang, she didn't even know Luke was gay until she'd heard him obscenely mention something about butt sex one time.

Reece smiled, noticed her choice of words, "oh no, I haven't, with moving I'm still figuring stuff out around work. I don't have a lot of dating time with being a trainee doctor."

"I was the same when I moved too, came for college and ended up staying with Ashton." She laughed, "now look at me," she put her arms around Ashton's neck, "we're engaged."

Ashton grinned down at her, "look at us now."

Bryana glanced back at Reece and Luke, "I have some single friends if you're interested." She hinted at Reece. Bryana looked around and pointed out a group of three girls, "those three, two are single."
