-Part 2-

After the first class, I checked my schedule and saw that next I had history. As I was walking to my next class, a pretty girl caught up with me.

"Hi! I'm Ahra. And you're Y/N. Are you headed to history? I am too. Let's be desk mates! Oh yeah, we're in Maths together."

After a moment, I answered, "Yes, I'm headed to history." I recognized her from math as one of the people who said 'Hi, Y/N.'
"She can sure talk quickly!" I thought as she rambled on.

"Let's eat lunch together!Where do you live? Has anyone ever told you that you are reeeally pretty?"

As we walked to class, I tried to answer her questions as quickly as she asked them, but it was difficult!

When we finally made it to the classroom, I thought my ears were going to fall off! It was a relief to know class was about to start.

During the class, it was hard to pay any attention to what the teacher was saying when my thoughts kept wandering to the mysterious Min Yoongi.

Why didn't he spend his breaks in chatty, giggly groups of students like everyone else? What had he done? Whom had he made angry? Did he chose to be alone?

All these questions and more swirled in my head as the bell rang, signalling that it was time for lunch. I put my bag over my shoulder and got up from my seat.

After a second, Ahra came up from behind me and linked arms. "Ready to head to the cafeteria?" She asked, flashing a bright smile. "Sure, let's go."

I said, tiredly, with a feeble attempt to smile. We reached the cafeteria momentarily, as it was on the floor below where we had classes.

Ahra brought me to a table where a few girls sat, texting, checking their makeup, etc. "Guys! This is Y/N. She's a new student, today is her first day!"

Ahra announced as we sat down. 3 pairs of eyes looked up and stared at me."Y/N, this is Jinyoung, Sana, and last but not least, Seulgi!"

Ahra gestured to each girl as she said their name. "Hi..." I answered awkwardly. Honestly, this group gave me 'The Plastics' vibes. Somehow, I felt like Ahra was the Karen Smith if the group.

After I sat down, I looked around for Min Yoongi. After a moment, I saw him sitting in the corner, (of course) silently eating his meal. I watched him for quite some time.

Until he looked up and met my eyes. We held I contact for a moment, then he looked back down at his plate. I looked down and felt my face turn red.

Why do I feel this way around him?
I asked myself as I put my face in my hands.

After my other classes, I was relieved to find out that Yoongi and I had first and last periods together. At least I could see him then.

Ahra offered to walk me home, and I reluctantly agreed. She was nice enough, but I didn't really like her friends... they aren't really my type of people.

They seem like the ones to act all sweet and then stab you in the back later. I had to push those thoughts from my mind as we neared my house.

A familiar dread came over me the closer we got. "So, which house is yours? Ahra asked, smiling just a little too wide."Oh, it's right up here," I answered, getting uneasy.

When we started to walk up my driveway, Ahra stopped."Well, Y/N, I guess I should head back, now that you're home and all...well, see you tomorrow!"

"Oh, alright! Well, yeah, I guess I'll be seeing you!" I said to her back, as she had already turned around. She didn't reply. I turned around, and walked up to my front door.

I sighed as I turned the knob. I tried to go in quietly, and I almost made it up the stairs. "Not going to tell me how your first day went, Y/N?" I froze.

"Oh,uh, Mom, my first day went pretty well!" I looked at my mother and tried to smile as genuinely as I could. "That's very good." She said, turning back around.

I let out a breath of relief I didn't know I was holding in. I slowly continued up the stairs and into my room. I shut my door behind me and leaned against.

"Why me?" I asked the universe. It didn't reply.
