6 hours. 6 hours I have been waiting. not one person told me anything. and then the door opened. "Kyle, we have some news." a tall brown haired doctor said to me. I literally have no patience. "WHAT IS THE NEWS." I scream. "please sit. it may come hard on you." the man says. my heart stops. she can't be dead she fell. she will be fine. or will she. DONT THINK LIKE THIS KYLE.

but its all my fault. I should have never taken her to the carnival. I'm so stupid. if she dies I could never forgive myself. I wasn't focused. so I focus on what he is saying but I missed a lot of it. "...so she didn't respond well to the medication...she had an allergic reaction to it and now she doesn't remember anything." he says. "WHAT. YOU GAVE HER MEDICINE SHE WAS ALLERGIC TOO? THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT..YOU..YOU.." I say but can't finish. I break into tears. the doctor pats my back. "it should be temporary. but it could get worse... would you like to see her?" "yes of course I would" I respond.

I walk into a room were all I hear is quiet sobs and tapping. I walk in and I see Zoe. a bloody mess with wires attached to her. "Zo! are you okay? please be okay? are you feeling better?" I say to her. she looks up at me. "who? who are you?" she responds and for a minute I couldn't breathe.
