*Arson's POV*
~Flashback~
"Dad, what happened? Where are you going?" I yell as I walk out of my room. I immediatley see my dad walk out of his room with bags. "I can't stay here, Arson. I have to get out of this house. Your mom and I still haven't worked out our issues. I'm sorry for the short notice, but I have to leave instantly." he explains in a rush. "I love you; never forget that!" he says half-way out the door. "No, dad please we can work this out. Just give her one more chance! She's done nothing wrong!" I yell outside to him. "There's just things you don't know. You wont understand." and he was gone.

Fourth period was finally over. AP Chem is so frickin hard. I suddenly feel a hand on my waist turn me around.
"Hey, how was Chemistry?" Shawn says pulling me in for yet another hug. His muscles touch against me as he hugs me. "Umm good?" I say/question. Woah. I've never been hugged this much. Should I let it happen? Should I hug back and go with it? "Next we have history. Let's go," he tells me as he starts walking. I walk timidly next to him.
"Mendes, ma man!" a sophmore says to Shawn as we walk by. "Hayes Grier, what's new little guy? Getting the ladies?" Shawn remarks. "No, just failing grades" he replies. "Who's this, Shawn?" he says smiling very widely at me. "I'm Arson Kaegan," I tell him.
"We got to get to class; see ya later bruh!" Shawn says as we walk away. Once again, we walk in silence and attract unwanted attention from girls.
"Are you guys like dating now?" the girl from earlier asks. We both just keep walking foward. I unexpectedley feel his hand brush up against mine. He wants to hold my hand; I let him.
"Do you want to?" he asks.
