                *Arson's POV*

"What time does he unlock your door?" he asked. I tell him that it's usually around 11:30 in the afternon the next day unless I have school. "Okay, so he wont suspect a thing. Just trust me everything is going to be alright," he tells me as he leans over and kisses my forehead to comfort me.

"What if he figures out I'm gone?"

"Lets not think about that."

We finally get to his house and his mom greets us by the door. "Shawn, is this the girl you've been talking about for the past month? She's very pretty," his mom tells Shawn. I can tell she's trying to embarrass him. "Yes, Mom, it is now please, we have homework to do!" He yells as we walk up the stairs; we obviously don't have homework.

We waited untill it got late, so Shawn could ask if I could stay the night.

"Yes, she can stay, but I trust you Shawn. Don't try anything," she says half joking- half being serious. "Okay, Mom," he says as he hugges her good night.

Shawn and I decided to watch The Lion King which is his favorite movie. I felt him put his arm around me and I laid my head on his chest. I could here his heart beat; I could tell he was nervous.

She gently laid her head on my chest. I quickly got up and ran to the bathroom. It couldn't happen again. The same thing happened the night my exgirlfriend, Lauren, told me she loved me. I didn't love her. I never did. I wanted to save my love for someone I actually cared about.

I definitley cared about Arson.

I just wasn't ready to tell her yet. "Are you okay?" she asked me with a concerned voice as I walked out. "Yeah, I'm fine." I told her.

"I'm sorry," she told me as she got up to leave.

I grabbed her by the waist before she could do anything else. "It wasn't you," then....I kissed her.

"Shawn! What the hell?!" she exclaimed while pulling away.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't help it! I like you and I thought you did too,"

"Shawn, why do you like me? I live in a dump, I wear the same pants everyday, and I'm pretty sure there are better girls just dying to be with you! I mean don't you see; you're perfect, I'm not. You have talent, I have nothing. You're good looking, I'm not.......you have a family that loves you..." she screamed at me.

"You are perfect; nothing more, nothing less. Talent doesn't matter. Arson, you're beautiful but that's not why I chose you over them. They just throw themselves at me, but you were different. You didn't want anything to do with me. Right when I realized this, I wanted to change your mind. I want to be with you. And I don't care if you have a family or not. Don't ever say someone doesn't love you; cause I do!" Oh my God...did I just...it slipped out.

" No you don't; you just think you do, but you really don't!" she yelled as she ran downstairs out of the house. She didn't want anything to do with me....I was right.

                *Arson's POV*

For the past weeks, I've been trying to avoid Shawn. Everytime he calls my name, I walk faster; everytime he gets infront of me, I walk around him and look down; every time he calls or texts me, I don't answer. Why would he say that? He's lying, he's delusional. Why would anyone like me? Especially Shawn Mendes. I'm nothing.
