I'm getting nervous all of a sudden as we enter the hall. Our employees aren't really familiar with me so they didn't really pay attention to me, well I think they SOMEHOW paid attention to me since well I'm Laurens's date tonight.

I gripped at Laurens's arm. Gosh, I'm so nervous dang it! Why am I doing this again?

"Hey, I'm here. I won't let anything happen to you hmm? Besides you can't be a scardy fat cat now," I then kicked him.

"You dimwit!" I shouted at him and then we both laughed, gosh we might look like a pair of mad people that escaped from a mental hospital.

"Will you two stop the sweetness? Jeez," I then sticked my tounge out at my brother's remark.

"Who's your date man?" Wow since when we're they close?

"No one man, because I'm a free man you better watch out. That lady next to you is quite possesive and clingy," I then shot a look at my brother, hmph! Spreading fake news!

"Ahaha, I can't wait to see that side of hers," I blushed when he looked at me with fascination written on his eyes, dang it!

"Ew, too sweet," I then sticked my tounge out at Traek's remark.

"Then why don't you try being sweet with the daughter of the Ferchesters?" I asked which made him shiver.

For some unknown reason the daughter of the Ferchesters is head over heels with Traek, I mean what on earth did she see on my foodie and arrogant little brother? Because last time I check, between him and our eldest brother, Ryu, Ryu is the friendly type. But he isn't really into relationships these days, he's having a hard tims controlling his emotions. So, that's the stupid love lives of my annoying siblings.

"I'd rather go into blind dates than be stuck in the same room with her or at be 4 meters closer to her," disgust is written all over his face, well my brother hates clingy girls.

"When you act like that Traek, I'm sure you'll be caught in an arranged marriage so you better find yourself a gurl you actually like," I agreed with Laurens's remark.

"I do have someone in mind," we were caught off-guard by his reply, my brother? As in the Traek Takashi Gimoto is liking a girl?

"Name, son," we were surprised as our mother approach our circle, now we have everyone's attention but my company doesn't even care about it.

Well, I guess staying as an introvert for the past year is back firing now. God I need to go back to tbe basics of not caring about the crowd. Should I consider going back to Japan and live with grandma to take my lessons? No, that's hell all over again. Besides I don't think Laurens could make it without seeing me, or maybe he'll follow me to Japan.

While I'm thinking of Japan, mom is already interrogating Traek. It's not everyday my brother actually LIKE someone other than his family. Laurens is an exception because he bribed his way into my brother's cold hard heart.

"Is she here?" My brother asked which got me interested, I still have time to think about staying here or going to Japan but right now I need to find out what exactly is up with my brother.

"I did see her earlier. She's got great taste in sweets," now I get it, the girl's also a foodie great we'll have three pigs in the family and yes I'm well aware of my hunger.

"What is she wearing?" My mother asked, I'm betting my books that after tonight, my brother is already engaged.

"She's wearing a nice black dress, it's simple and not that eye-catching, most especially it's not revealing unlike someone in a red mermaid dress showing off her cleavage," Laurens and I had a hard time containing our laughter knowing that we have everyone's attention.

Oh he is so not talking about the Lady of the Ferchesters. That girl is too fiesty and pushy for a sister-in-law.

"I think I have an idea who Traek's dream girl is," we then looked at Laurens when he speaked up.

"Don't tell me you'll be my brother's love rival you giraffe," I said but he just laughed at me.

"No, I could actually help him out. I think the one he's talking about is my auntie's bestfriend's adopted daughter, Lilianne," Laurens said and pointed on a cute teenage girl wearing a SIMPLE BLACK DRESS by the desserts table.

"The daughter of the Avilés? Oh wow, the rizalry between the Avilés and the Ferchesters is quite well known," my brother said which made me laugh softly, I need to maintain my poise.

"Looks like you'll go through the path of complicated love, Traek," I teased, everyone knows how my brother HATES complicated things.

"Nah, it's nit a big deal I'll go out with the person I like to go out with. Who cares with their family rivalry, it got nothing to do with me," Traek then shrugged and marched his way towards Lilianne.

"The younger a Gimoto is, the bolder it gets," Laurens said which made me agree.

"Okay, I'll have a chat with Lily Avilés. I'll reconsider our collaboration in this year's season, we're making it big in the fashion industry. Now man-up Ryu, go find a girl already I want my grandchildren soon I'm not getting younger," of course my mother didn't miss the chance to burden my brother.

"It's a good thing I found you earlier, who knows who's wife you are now if I didn't persue you," I then laughed at Laurens.

"I doubt that, I think you're just plain old annoying and persistent. What did you even like about my nerdy self?" I asked him which made him smile.

"Well, you're someone I took interest in because I knew the moment you argued about me drinking milk was the moment I knew you were different. You were let's say, untainted," he said, well that was a unique way to put it.

"You better treasure me then," I told him, he then intertwined our fingers.

"You don't have to tell me," he then kissed the edge of my head and of course redness spreads across my face.

The lights then dimed and then the spotlight was focused on the stage. Here it goes...
My whole family then went to the stage.

"First of all, I wish all of you are having a great night. It's our family's joy to have all of you in service with us and of course, we thank our friends for their unending support," dad started off.

"We thank all of you for the 30 years of service and as a treat you could ask us any question you would like. Just not too personal," well that's new, mom isn't really that friendly ahaha.

The crowed then cheered and then the staff of the hotel held several microphones for the employees to use. My family is now sitting at the stage.

"Looks like your family is buying you some time to get prepared," Laurens said which made me nod.

"First Question is for Sir Ryu, what is your ideal type," I saw this coming, my brother is such a charmer.

"Well, someone who could take care of me and is very understanding," well I could understand why he wants an understanding person, he's a workaholic.

"Second Question, I've been really really curious about this for a long time. Is the only daughter of the Gimoto's still single?" I then straightened my back, well that was a surprise.

"Why don't you ask her herself?" Traek said which made an uproar.

"Ladies and gentlemen I think it's time for all of you to meet our only daughter, our middle child. Rikka Annalie Gimoto," that's my que.

I then stood up and walked towards the stage with the spotlight focused on me. You can do this Rikka!

I went to the stage and saw surprise and amazement written clearly on their faces. I gave them a genuine smile before taking the microphone from my brother.

"I hope you all are having a great evening and I'm sure I took you in surprise for my well surprise visit and introduction? Ahaha, well as for the question I'm not single anymore," well that went smoothly than I thought.
