"Mommyyy, I want to go grocery shopping," Hiroki said which made me close my book.

"Go get your dad," I said you see I just can't say no to him, maybe because I still feel that I haven't been the best mother I could be for him.

With having him in an early age really is something that I can't just brush off. Add the fact that I'm busy with school.

I just wore my white and blue hoodie, I put on my mask and pushed up my glasses before leaving my room. I saw them at the living room watching cartoons, did I take too long?

"Let's go childish duo," I teased which made Hiroki's brows cross, kawaii.

"Oh shut up you pig," Laurens then made a face which made me laugh.

"Mommy isn't a pig daddy!" I smiled as Hiroki defended me and this time I was the one who made a face.

Laurens then picked Hiroki up and then pinched his nose which made Hiroki laugh, darn their cuteness! I smiled as my mind wondered on how lucky I was to have both of them in my life. How lucky I was despite going through a lot in an early age I still ended up with the right man, not a boy but a man. I guess all I really wanted was to be loved and cared by someone who can fix the scars and wounds of my heart.

"Hey you look like a person with a mental problem smiling like that," I was then taken back to reality by Laurens's insult, nah I'm still lucky ahaha.

"Just shut up," I said, we then road the car to the mall to buy some groceries.

"Mommy, why are you and daddy wearing masks?" Hiroki asked as we enter the mall, he's still being carried by Laurens.

You see Laurens is quite fond of kids, well that is what I think since he's really fond of Hiroki and so is Hiroki to him. You might not notice it but even though Hiroki is an energetic and naughty kid he is only like that to us but if he is with strangers he's quite cold and aloof.

"Because it looks cool," Laurens said, well it'd be hard explaining our situation to a kid.

"Really? I want to wear one too," Laurens's and I both laughed at Hiroki's statement, darn he's so cute and innocent.

"I have a lot at home, want to visit my house later?" Laurens asked Hiroki, knowing my son he'll say...

"Yes! I was actually waiting for you to ask me that question for a long time," I then laughed.

"Well then let's get this grocery shopping over with so we could go to daddy's house!" This kid really changes goals easily.

We went in the supermarket and Hiroki started pointing to things and Laurens gladly stuffed it in the cart, they really look like a pair of father and son. Should I stop and scold them to portray my role as a mother?

I was about to stop them when I saw Hiroki reaching for too much chips when someone called Laurens's name.

"Laurens? Oh my it is you," we three looked back and saw...

"Cafe friend? Oh sorry I'm terrible at giving nicknames, I didn't get your name the last time," I said shyly, completely ignoring the fact she knows Laurens.

"It's fine, anyway Laurens must be your milk addict giraffe of a boyfriend huh?" Laurens then shot me a look which made me laugh.

"Don't tell me you keep on telling strangers that you encounter about that," I then smiled at him proudly.

"Just be happy that I'm proud of you, you fungi," he was about to strangle me if not for uhh, I really need to get her name this time.

"Spare me the sweetness, ahaha. Anyway oh there he is, honey!" She waved at someone so we looked at the way she is looking and there stood a tall and handsome guy.

"You two are a perfect match," I said.

"Perhaps we are, you must be..." I then stretched my arm.

"Rikka, Rikka Analie Gimoto," I said with a smile and he was about to reach for my hand if not for Laurens smacking his hand.

"Hands off," Laurens said playfully.

"You jealous giraffe!" I growled at him but he just laughed it off.

"You're still possessive as ever Laurens," I could sense the sense of familiarity between the three.

"So, what's up with you guys?" I asked.

"Well let's just say we have a past. Anyway I'm Ysabelle," I then gasped.

"You're the Ysabelle?" I asked which made her nod.

"And this is my husband, Warren," he then nodded at me while I smiled, he sure is cold.

"Madam, Sir Franco's school called," Ysabelle and Warren then nodded at us before bidding farewell.

I looked at Laurens and smiled, he looks calm and collected.

"Mommy!" I then snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Hiroki's shout, dang we forgot about him!

"That's a lot of chips young man!" I scolded him but he just smiled, showing off he's cute dimples. Dang it!
