Logan's realization

Logan was busy at work... Well, he wanted a bit more fieldwork. Instead he sat at his desk, doing paperwork. Great. He thought. I'm beginning to sound like Roman.

No matter what he tries to do, his mind went back to Virgil. To Virgil and his mysterious sister. Who was she? Why did she hide her face?

Logan knows for a fact that only Patton and Virgil live together in that apartment. So why did Virgil bring her there? He said that there were things there to 'distract' her. And what did Logan think of that?

Logan has met great liars and manipulaters, and those lights keep on flickering when Virgil talked about her. Was his second hypothesis correct, was she merely a junkie? It doesn't make sence... Why did she hide her face, in Virgil's jacket?

They are hiding something. Was Logan's first instinctional thought correct? Of course. All the signs point to Virgil hiding her from someone. Maybe even from everyone.

She might also be a criminal. Why else hide her face infront of Logan? Virgil already told him that he knew Logan was a 'cop'. Then another few questions arise. Hypothetically, if she is a criminal...does Virgil work with her, for her, or are they working for others. What if calling her his sister, was to draw away these thoughts? What if Virgil is actually a master criminal, one that you only hear of, but never know how they look like?

What if Logan is just crazy, and she is just a junkie? But why hide her? Is she afraid of people? Virgil said she had anxiety...maybe it is social anxiety?

"Neeeeerd! Stop daydreaming!" Roman sings. I look over at his desk. He is looking at me with a smug look on his face. He then stood up and walked towards my desk. "Are you thinking about a certain emoooo?"

I regret telling him about yesterday.

"Not in the way you are insinuating." I told him in a monotone voice.

He playfully frowns. "Whaaaaat! He said he was gay. He's gay, you're gay, he flirted with you, you like him. Ask him out already!"

I sigh. "Roman. I appreciate your...determination towards the subject."

"But?"

"I recall Patton saying that Virgil was an only child. So why did he lie by saying that she is his sister?" I told Roman.

"I'll graciously bring up the subject with Patton. Maybe Patton just didn't know that Virgil has a sister." Roman replied.

"He said that he knows that Virgil is an only child. So why would Virgil lie?" I inquire.
