Ch 12

Haruka and the rest of the swim club were practicing like they always did then Haru got a phone call. Hello said Haru. Haru, this is Dauja, said the caller. What is going on are you ok, asked Haru. Around 10 last night, Karma came out of his room, he was not responsive, and after just standing there for about a minute, he just collapsed, we called emergacy services, and got him to the hospital, said Danuja. Is he alright now, asked Haru. 

Yes he fine now, he is just sleeping, said Danuja. Now Makoto came up and stood fight next to Haru. Did the doctors tell you the cause, of why this happened, asked Haru. They said that it was attempted suicide, said Danuja. Then a tear started to roll down Haru's face. I will come as soon as I can, bye Danuja, said Haru. Bye Haru, said Danuja. 

Haru then sat down on the bench and put his hands into his head. Haru are you done with that call asked Gou. Haru did not respond. Are you ok asked Rei. He is to young wispered Haru. What asked Makoto. I need to leave early, said Haru. What why asked Nagisa. Family emergency, responded Haru. 

With the Host club

WHY IS MY DAUGHTER NOT HERE yelled Tamaki.  Don't know, maybe she got sick said Kaoru. WHAT MY DAUGHTER IS SICK, WE NEED TO GO TAKE CARE OF HER, said Tamaki. She called me this morning said Kyoya. What did she say, asked Honey. Well for starters, she sounded like she was crying, said Kyoya, I could also hear a very light beeping in the background, like she was in a hospital. MY DAUGHTER IS IN THE HOSPITAL, AND SHE CALLS YOU INSTEAD OF ME, yelled Tamaki. She just called to tell me that she won't be here for a few days, said Kyoya. Why asked Hikaru. She just said that it is a family emergency, said Kyoya. Can we call her later asked Honey. We can try, but with things sounded this morning, I do not know if she will answer, said Kyoya. 

A few minutes later. 

The host club called Haruhi, and she  answered. 

Hello Kyoya, said Haruhi. Hello Haruhi, how are things there asked Kyoya. Oh things here are just fine, said Haruhi. Have to go bye, she said and the call ended. 

With Kanon and her parents. 

They were walking down the hall until they found the room Karma was in. They knocked on the door and heard a quiet come in. Oh hi Kanon said Danuja. Hi, Mrs. Fujioka said Kanon, how is he. He is just sleeping right now said Danuja. Those papers over there are letters, from Karma, there is one for you said Danuja. Kanon picked up the letter that had her name on it. Do I have to read it now asked Kanon. No you don't have to read it now, said Danuja. 

Soon Haru got to the hospital as well. It was very scary to see Karma happy at dinner, then a few hours have the doctors tell us that he tried to commit suicide, said Danuja, maybe he was just happy that he would not be here anymore. 

What was he like asked Kanon. Well Shiro and I were just watching the news, and then we heard one of the kids doors open. When we looked down the hallway we saw that it was Karma, and so we asked what was wrong, he did not respond, so we asked again, and that is when he collapsed, and started to shake uncontrollably. We got him to the hospital, and doctors said that he over dosed on pills, said Danuja. 

Soon Kanon and her family left. The next day after school, she and Tatsuya, both went to Ren's house. 

Oh Jugo, do you think we can invite Karma over soon, asked Ren. Of corse, he seems like a really nice boy. Kanon, do you think that maybe this weekend will work, for his family, asked Ren. He won't have any spare time for a few weeks, said Kanon. Are you ok, you have seemed out of it all day, said Tatsuya. Oh I just have a lot on my mind now, said Kanon. Do you want to talk about it asked Ayano. I think I should, said Kanon. Ok then say what you need to say, said Ren. Ok what I am about to say is about Karma, and Jugo, and Genma, please do do not change the way you see him, said Kanon. Jugo and Genma both nodded their heads. 

You see Karma was admitted to the hospital about a day ago, said Kanon. Is ok asked Ren. Yeah he fine now, but what he did was self inflicted. Ayano, Ren, and Tatsuya, all asked what that ment. He wrote this letter a few hours before he was put into the hospital, but I do not want to read it alone, because Karma is a very good person, and I can not see why he would do this to himself, said Kanon. Kanon then pulled out the letter. Can I read it out loud, asked Kanon. Sure said Jugo. Ok here is what it says said Kanon. 

Hey, there are a few things that I want to get of my chest, before I leave. You already know that I did not have an easy life. Watching my real dad kill my mom, brother, and sister, messed me up as a child, also that military school I was sent to right after that happened, messed me up as well. You only know about my PTSD, but I was also diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and insomnia. At school I was being bullied, but I do not know why, people are just weird like that, they like one person, but hate another just because of their hair, weight, religion, culture, and so on. The bulling was just verbal at first, but then went on to cyber bulling, and then it got physical. I was hurting so much every day, and it did not help that three of my bullies also lived with me. Every night I would cry myself to sleep. I know as a man, or boy you are supposed to be all tough and not let anything bother you, but why is that. Soon it got to a point where I started to self harm. I was so numb, and I just wanted to make sure I was still human. That day at the amusement park, those people were some of the people that bullied me. To be honest I was scared when I saw them walking up to us, because I did not know what they would do. Music was a big help, but sadly music can not save everything. I really loved all the time I would help you learn the songs, and then we would just play music for hours on end. I am sorry for my actions, but my brain is so messed up, I do not even know if I am sane anymore. I say sorry sorry a lot, because I feel like all these bad things that happen are my fault. Maybe I upset the lord somehow and this is his way of punishing me for all my sins. Well now the only punishment that he could possibly have left for me, is just sending me to hell. I am sorry that our friendship had to end this way. I hope you do not follow in my foot steps, just because of this mistake that I made. Remember that I will always be near, just not physically. Please keep making people smile just like you made me smile. I hope I will see you someday in the after life. Please do not end your life early. Please stay happy for, me.                                                                                                                                                                                                      - Karma Akabane 

Kanon then started to cry. Why did he do this asked Ayano. He said in the letter, he was was in pain, said Kanon. Can we see him asked Ren. We could go now if it fine with everyone said Kanon. Jugo and Genma both nodded their head yes. Kazuma can you go with them, asked Jugo. Sure said Kazuma. 

When they got to the hospital. 

Just wait here, I will ask if you guys can come in, said Kanon. A few minutes later Kanon opened up the door, and said that they could come in. Nice to meet you, I am Mrs. Fujioka, said Danuja. How is he asked Kanon. The doctor just came in and gave him his medicine, said Danuja. Do you see that bunny there, asked Danuja. Kanon looked at the bunny and tears rolled down her face. When he came out of his room he was holding it, and when ever someone would try to take it away, he make his grip stronger on it, said Danuja. I gave him that bunny about a year ago for his birthday, said Kanon. Here let me show you what I mean. Danuja went over to Karma and tried to take away the bunny, but Karma held the bunny tighter. He is not going to give you the bunny, said Shiro. 

Soon Kanon, Ren, Tatsuya, Ayano, and Kazuma left the hospital. You now Kanon, Ren started, it was pretty cute when Karma would not let go of the bunny you got him. Yeah it was, it just shows how much he likes it, said Kanon. You know I just noticed this, but Karma is hella thin, said Tatsuya. Karma, does not eat much, when Shiro and Danuja first got Karma into their care, they literally had to hold him down or stick a tube down his throat to get him to eat, said Kanon. Really asked Ren. Back then you could out line Karma's ribs and count all of the bones of his spine, said Kanon. 

Soon everyone got home and went to sleep
