Not all bad endings are bad

Ch 13

Haruhi came back to school today. 

Hey Haruhi where were you, asked a girl who was a costermer of Haruhi's. Oh I was just visiting some family, said Haruhi. Then Haruhi just went to her seat. Hey Haruhi your back, said the twins. Haruhi just smiled. Soon classes were over and it was host hours. I really do not want to do this today Haruhi thought. HARUHI IS BACK yelled the twins. WELCOME BACK MY DAUGHTER yelled Tamaki. Haruhi just smiled and sat down at a table. 

Haruhi was just sitting with her guests, when she started to think about Karma. About how he was on the hospital bed looking almost lifeless. How it looked exactly like her mother when she was put into the hospital before she died. 

Haruhi was the brought back to attention, by one of her guests. Oh I am sorry, I was elsewhere at the moment, said Haruhi. But Haruhi, you are crying said one of her guests. Oh my gosh, I guess I am, what were you saying, Haruhi said. Oh I was asking why you were absent for a few days said one of the girls. Oh I was just a little bit sick, Haruhi lied. Soon club hours were over. 

Go a head and add my spacing out to my debt, said Haruhi. Please tell us what is going on said Honey. Haruhi then sat down on the couch, and pulled out a piece of paper from her bag. Do you guys remember Karma, asked Haruhi. Yeah he was that red head at your Aunt and Uncles house, said Hikaru. Well he was put into the hospital the day I called Kyoya, and told him that I would not be here for a few days, said Haruhi. 

What is that paper asked Tamaki. Karma is not the happiest person, and he has not had the easiest life, said Haruhi. That did not answer out question Kyoya said. Karma tried to kill himself and this paper is his suicide letter to me, said Haruhi. S-suicide asked Kyoya. yep said Haruhi. Can I read his letter, she asked. Sure said Kyoya. Ok here we go, said Haruhi. 

Dear Haruhi,

            I just wanted to say sorry for what happened. I was not in the right mind set and I just needed everything to stop. The pain that I felt everyday soon became to much for me to handle. I felt so numb, but hurt so much. At school I was being bullied, and at first it just started out as verbal, but then it went on to cyber bulling, and then it became physical. There was even a time that I was pulled into the restroom at lunch, blindfolded, had tape over my mouth, and then my head was pushed into the sink that was filled with water. I was like that for 3 minutes, but it felt like three hours.  Everyday in that class I had someone tell me to kill your self. I do not want you to do the same thing I did just because of my death, instead I want this to make you a stronger person. Even when you miss me please remember that I am in an better place, and I am no longer in pain. Please keep smiling, and remember that I will always be near, even if you can not see me. I had so much fun when you came over with your friends, but remember all good things must end at some point. But do not worry, because you will see me again, but when God desides he wants you back. I will always be watching, and will send down the purest and whitest doves.         Goodbye                                                                                                                                                                                                     - Karma Akabane. 

Haruhi started to cry. He really wanted to die Haruhi said. Kyoya then went over to Haruhi and hugged her. Haruhi then started to cry in Kyoya's chest. After a few minutes Haruhi calmed down. I remember when I first met Karma, Haruhi said, he was so weak, and fragile, like one touch could break him. He was so thin, and it was painful to hear his screams when people would have to force feed him. It was like he was a scared animal trying to be tamed. Over time he became more and more controvertible with his surroundings. But now he is back at square one, she said. Do you have any good memories of him asked Honey. 

Many, said Haruhi, I remember when we would play ukulele together, when we would go up to the lake in the summer and many other good times. 

They talked for 30 minutes and soon went home and thought about what Haruhi told them.
