~Into the Wind~[An Ereri fanfic]

~Chapter 1~

But there was a feeling,

Of unreachable heights,

Sang Levi as he practiced piano, eyes closed. As he finished his short melancholy tune, he flexed his hands.

Knock, knock.

"Levi, Mikasa and her friends are here, hurry, or you'll be late!" Cirped his mother.

It was sad that Mikasa had to drive him and her foster brother, Eren, to school, but they dealt with it.

Levi grabbed his pad and ran out the door, slipping on his tennis shoes.

He walked up to the car, putting on his expressionless face.

He got in his seat, the last seat in the back, next to Eren.

Levi began to write his last chapter, then planned on publishing it in the next month.

"Hey, Levi, whatcha workin' on?" Eren asked looking over at the pad.

"Nothing that you need to know. . ." Levi stated, his eyes narrowing into a death glare to Eren.

Eren put his hands up in defense and sighed, " Just asking, geez. . ."

Levi closed the pad as they reached the school and they got out, Mikasa, Eren, then Levi, in that order.

Levi walked into the school first, and his eyes widened at a very surprising scene,

"Happy birthday, Levi!"
