Everyone took turns holding Jacob, but Cress, just like when Zack was born, wouldn't let go. She still hadn't gotten used to babies and was constantly awed by how tiny they could be. Wolf however, found it strangly natural to have a baby, or, to carry on the tradition, a pup. His green eyed, dark haired and freckled Jacob.
For countless nights onward he would sway Jacob to sleep, who either didn't mind, or never seemed to notice his mutations, giggling whenever he was tickled. Wolf would burp him, send him to sleep and change him without the slightest complaint. This was his pup and he would do anything to protect him. Wolf even found himself growling, a low rumble in his chest whenever someone he didn't know got too close. Jacob was a new light in his life and he would make sure that he was Scarlets light too. Wolf often felt a surge of happiness at seing his little boy in the arms of his alpha, who without a doubt had recovered strong and fast. They were to enjoy many days of watching Jacob grow and giggle, more reunions of the Rampion crew to come as it grew along with his friends's children, and theirs to come. For a long time to come, their family was finally complete.
