"Just breath. You've got this Scarlet-friend. Look into Wolfs dazzling eyes and concentrate on pushing." Winter was whispering into her ear as the pain came and went and she only wanted be sicker with every passing second. Jacin didn't look worried so she wasn't worried either, just exauhsted. Finally, the baby came. Cinder talked to her through the whole thing too, and Cress arrived just in time to encourage through the end. Emily was shyer but her presence helped all the same. The guys were ushered iut the door by Cinder
"Out, out, out!" she had said "give the brave woman some space!"

Despite Cinders scoldings, Wolf had sat through the whole thing holding her hand and stroking her hair.

It was a boy, and she was so relieved that he was healthy despite arriving a month early. Jacob. Her baby boy. Wolfs baby boy. Even though she knew that she was a hot mess, she looked up at Wolf and smiled best she can, even though she was convinced it only made her look worse. Wolf grinned back, his lopsided grin all worth the while as a tiny screaming newborn was put into their arms.

Wolf had peered down at the bundle, and something extremely rare had happened. Wolf was crying. He was crying with absolute joy, and in less than an instant, hot tears came pricking into Scarlets own eyes and she was filled with so much love she thought that she might actually burst. Her closest friends with her the entire way through, not just this but everything that had happened through the past five years, and Wolf. Her amazing, supportive, hard working and gentle Ze'ev. He had been there too. And now, he's handing her a little baby boy, so gentle and precious that they would surley rase to be strong and kind, to pull through and be a protector of all things good.
