As we walk out off the ER me and Reese don't talk as I'm still salty from what he said earlier. What is he on about he can't trust me? I saved him. I roll my eyes as I think of Reese's words.
"What?" He says
"Oh nothing I say coldly"
"I know something's wrong what is it?"
" fine" I give in finally "just the fact that you don't think you can trust me" i mumble
"I'm sorry okay I've had a hard day that's all can you forgive me"
"I guess"

We walk silently as we reach the beach pier once again. Lottie has started to give my arm cramps so I'm relieved we have finally come to a stop.
"So .... where's your car?" I say as I try to inspect the area for the nearest parking lot.
"I parked it right here I swear"
I look over to Reese and see he had become distressed all of a sudden and realise that this isn't a joke.
"Okay well a car can't just walk a way. Are you sure you parked the car here?"
"Yes positive and this is no time for jokes either" he says rather annoyed
"Okay okay .... well what are you going to do?"
" I don't know my phone and ......" he stops suddenly
"Your what Reese"
He doesn't answer
"Your WHAT REESE" I say annoyed and waking up Lottie.
"My FUCKING KEYS KIRA" he shouts making Lottie force her face into my neck
"You mean ...."
"YES I LEFT MY LEYS IN THE IGNITION MY CAR HAS BEEN FUCKING STOLEN" he shouts rubbing his hands over his face "what do I do my clothes ,my phone ,my keys all in that car"
"Okay do you have no way of getting home?"
"No Kira we don't"
"Oh god. Okay we can figure this out okay just let's calm down a second let's go somewhere we can have a coffee or something how does that sound" I say trying to calm the situation
"I can't I have no money" he says deflated
"My treat"
"YAAYAYYYYY" Lottie screams in my ear 
"Can I have a hot chocolate" she says as I place her down on the ground
"Of course" I say as I tap the end of her nose
