New Girl

  Hey guys! I'm new to Wattpad, but I decided to write this book! Open to feed-back and suggestions! Not looking for hate, but a little bit of criticism is good!

 I couldn't believe it. This was my new school. 

I leaned forward, my gaze wandering around the road. The green grass was freshly cut, and the trees were spaced evenly. But what really excited me, was the school. It's large doors and big windows. Flowers grew around it. To the right, a path forked out. My mom turned around, "Shall we go to the barn first?" Her blonde hair was pulled up into a neat bun, and her pale, blue eyes were bright. I nodded eagerly.

We pulled up in front of the large barn. I jumped out of the car, my dad calling after me. I opened up the horse trailer attached to our car, untying a large, jet-Black gelding. "Jet! Come on!" I led him off the trailer, walking towards the barn's large doors.

A man stopped us, "Name?" My eyes trailed down to a badger, that read, 'Drew, head of riding'

"Bristol, Luna Bristol." I said, patting Jet's long, dark neck. 

"Pleased to meet you! I'm Drew, and this handsome fellow must be Jet?" I nodded.

"Follow Ethan, he's one of our grooms. I'll be assessing your riding skills tomorrow," he pointed at a tall man, and I followed him.

We stopped at an open stall, the name plate reading, 'Soarin High', his showname. Underneath that, was a small description about Jet. I checked his water, and looked around the large stall, it had nice shavings, and beautiful wood walls. I patted him on the neck, "I'll be back later, boy."

I jogged back out to my car, checking my texts. One from Callie, my best friend. It read, 'at my Dorm!' I replied, and our car pulled up to the girl's dorm. It was big, and pretty. My parents and I walked in.

I looked around my dorm room. My parents had put in extra money, like some did, to get a bigger room. There was a small living room attached to a tiny kitchen-like thing with shelves, a microwave, a sink and a fridge. We peeked into the second room. It had a soft, carpeted floor and pale, teal walls. One bed was near a window, and the other was pushed into a corner. A bathroom was there, as well. 

"Luna!" I looked up, and a blonde-haired, green eyes girl grinned. 

"Callie!" We hugged.

After greeting each other, I found that there was two dressers, and two desks. I unpacked quickly, then turned and said my goodbyes to my parents, giving them both hugs.
