The school allowed the team, and Callie, of course, to go out to dinner.

So here we were, me clutching Jack's hand and in the best I would let Callie put me in, a nice t-shirt, a pair of nice boots, a belt and jeans. No dresses.

We all waited to be seated, and he showed us to three booths, Callie, Jack and I claimed one, and The Queens claimed one next to our's. Drew and Eric took the booth across from our's.

The three of us ordered garlic bread for starters, and I made sure to get the most.

"Well someone's very ladylike." I heard Jack's sarcastic voice across from me, and I looked up, speaking as I chewed.

"Very." I swallowed, "I hope Smokey is okay."

"Im sure he is." Callie told me, and I nodded.

"What would you like to drink?" The waiter, a tall women, asked us.

"Sprite." Me.

"Sprite." That was Callie.

"Coke!" I rolled my eyes at Jack's exclamation, and Callie and I laughed.

"Hey- what's so funny?" Jack asked us, and he started laughing.

Callie and Jack talked, and I could hear The Queens beside us.

"...Im going to get Jack..." I frowned, who said that? Sounded like Heather.

"Ask him out..."

"Eric..."

I could feel Jack's eyes on me, "Hey, you okay?" He asked softly, I nodded.

Heather popped around her booth and stopped at our table, "Hey, are you two dating?" She pointed at Jack, then me.

I flushed, shrugging. Jack didn't say anything. Heather waltzed back to her table, and Callie started up the conversation again.

"Jet was great! I remember that first time you rode him, and as soon as you got on, he reared and freaked."

I chewed on a piece of bread, shooting her a greatful look, adding, "And when I jumped him for the first time, it was only 2'6, and he bolted and jumped it like it was 4 foot. Afterwards, he tried to throw me."

"How long have you had him for?" Jack asked.

"A few years."

"What about Amber?" Callie asked.

"2 years, but she was broke when I got her." He said with a shrug, "Who's your horse?"

"Gambler's Choice, aka Gabe."

"I love his show name!"

"That's what I said!" I chirped, agreeing with Jack.

"He's a chestnut, and he's really rally's sweet." Callie said with a nod.

The waiter gave us our drinks, and we ordered food. It arrived shortly after, and we chatted while eating.

I ordered cheesecake for dessert, Jack got a brownie, and Callie got a slice of cake.

Jack leaned across the table, took his fork and swiped a piece of my cheesecake, "Hey!" I called.

He shoved it into his mouth, and I huffed.

After a hard debate about who should pay, Jack reached over and handed his credit card to the waiter.

The horses had already been drive back to the academy, and we piled into the car.
