Malik, Sophia and I have been best friends since high school. Luckily, we all applied to the same college and got accepted. It was spring break and we would soon resume classes. It was a bust.
"Can you believe that we are going to be seniors?" Sophia shrieked. "It seemed like just yesterday we were still freshmen." She reminisced.
"Can you believe that school starts next week?" Malik taunted. "It seemed like just yesterday we got spring break." His remark earned a nudge from Sophia. We all laughed."He's right! We never got the chance to do anything fun" I agreed.
"Well it's not too late" We turned around to see my boyfriend approaching us.He must have overheard us. "Seriously, Nate. Are you stalking Laura?" Sophia frowned and I laughed.
"I confess! I sneaked a GPS in her purse when she wasn't looking." He joked but no one laughed.
I stared at him seriously and so did the gang."I'm joking. God!" He spoke out.
I really hope he was.
"So, since you guys are wasting your last week mourning, I am going to the beach party tomorrow tonight." He boasted."What? Where?" Malik immediately got interested. He loved the idea of seeing half naked girls swim or lie around in sand.
"It's over in Verley." Nate answered.
"But that's like a 5-hour ride" I butted in."Not if you take the train." He smirked at us.
