Eren's POV
Armin was on the verge of tears when I showed him the letter. To be honest, we both were. It's a pretty big deal to meet my best friend for the first time in the five years that I've known him.
After that we had to have talked for three hours on if I should tell Grisha, and if so, how.
Armin suggested I could tell Grisha that we went to middle school together, before he moved away. Grisha wouldn't buy it, and I'm a sucky liar.
He would probably ask Armin complicated questions about my school that not even I could answer.
We finally came to the conclusion that I would straight up tell him everything. I mean Tumblr, Skype, even our bad photoshops. Everything.
We also I agreed that I had to apologize to Mikasa so she wouldn't rat us out before I was ready to break the news to my dad.
I was still sitting in my bed looking over the ideas I wrote down. We had plenty more ideas of what we could do when we met. They were pretty cute ideas though.
No matter what we did, I would still have to talk to Mikasa first.
I looked over my notes one last time before planting my feet on the floor and standing off the bed. I clutched the notepad to my chest as I dragged my feet to the bedroom door.
As I neared her room, I heard her voice; like she was talking to someone, which wasn't unusual, eexcept I could barely hear the second voice. It was a bit skippy, like a bad recording.
Mikasa? Can I come in? I cracked her door open enough to see her slam her laptop closed.
"Uh, yeah." she said. I pushed the door open all the way and entered her room.
"Who were you talking to?" I asked as I slumped into the familiar bean bag.
"No one important." she shoved her laptop under a pillow.
"Why are you being so secretive? Wait... Mikasa! Was that your boyfriend?" her cheeks flushed with red.
"No, no, no, no, no. It was just a friend." she paused. "From school."
"No, it wasn't." I smirked. She looked surprised.
"What?" Mikasa asked. She refused to make eye contact with me.
"I've had this conversation before, but I was in your place. Remember when you first walked in on me Skyping with Armin and I did the exact same thing? If it was just a friend from school, you wouldn't have slammed your laptop like that. So, spill." she looked flustered, probably because I was completely right.
"Okay, fine. That was Sasha. A friend I met just like you met Armi-" she started.
"I KNEW IT!" I cried out, releasing the notepad from my grasp. It bounced off her wall and laid to rest behind her desk. She looked surprised by my sudden outburst.
"Oh, wait, I almost forgot. I came to apologize about dragging you into my relationship with Armin. I just had no idea what to do about Grisha and I thought you could help. I'm sorry." I finally said.
"Don't be sorry. i should be apologizing to you for being such a jerk last night. Thing is, I need to figure out how to tell him about Sasha, too." she flopped back.
"This is a lot more messed up than it needs to be. I don't know what to do." I fell into an abyss of beanbag.
"That makes two of us, Eren."
