POV : Amaya
I spend the whole day after college with my books and pens, sitting on my chair, moving only when I've to pee or eat, writing and writing as fast as I could. I completed almost half of my assignment by 0200 of morning when sleep caught me.
**
As I opened my eyes slowly to the daylight, I was seized by a terror. I look at the clock immediately. I got no more fucking time to complete my assignment. I dressed for college and decided to complete the rest of my work there.
**
Samantha and I were sitting in the canteen when I was trying to somehow complete my assignment. Ten minutes before the 'smoking jerks' class, Joe and Mini came to us.
"Hi there! Babe! What's happening?" Joe said sitting in front of me.
"Shit has been happening, Joe. Just don't ask anything." I was worried as hell.
"Why? What happened now?" Mini asked concerned.
I exhaled sharply lowering my head. Samantha looked at me then told them every crap that happened to me last day.
"No shit! You told him you'll teach him some shame? Seriously? Do you?" Mini was startled so was Joe. He couldn't get out even a word from his mouth.
But then he did laughed. Laughed out loud.
"You are really something, man. I'm impressed."
Ahh....! Seriously!
We three were looking at him with disgusted faces, me with some added anger.
"Are you serious, Joe?" Samantha said.
"This isn't funny. He's our goddamn new professor. It'll affect her grades if she doesn't do anything about it. Plus she hasn't completed his very first assignment. He got obvious reasons to avenge her."
"Oh no, you're thinking too much, stupid. Nothing will happen to her grades if she'll do just one thing."
"Apologize to him." Joe said turning his face to me.
"I think Joe's right, Amaya. Even if he was wrong, smoking inside the campus and all, who cares? All we care about is our grades and if an apology could make things better, why don't just go for it?" Mini said.
"How much have you done? The assignment?" Joe asked.
"Almost seventy percent."
"That and an apology will do. Just tell him that you're really sorry and it all happened by mistake. As easy as it is." Joe said.
How much I'm regretting coming by this man yesterday. Why did I need to go to that garden? There's a hell lot of a space in this college. Why didn't I go to someplace else? Oh! I hate myself.
But the only thing that could get me out of my misery is an apology, even when I'm right.
This screws me.
"Okay. I'm gonna apologize to him after class." I said to everybody.
**
I saw him standing right in front of me, looking into his file, frowning. He didn't notice me at all. He looks stupidly sexy when he's working.
But I need to concentrate.
I looked behind me where Samantha, Joe and Mini were gesturing me to go and talk to him. It was so fucking easy for them from such a distance. They have no clue what I'm going through here.
