Scorpius sat at the Slytherin table, looking over his time table with Albus, comparing their schedules, trying to figure out the lessons they had together.

Albus grinned, "That's great! The only lesson we don't have together is Charms."

Scorpius sighed in relief, "Oh good, I was worried we were barely going to have any classes together."

Scorpius directed his attention to flaming red hair seated at the Gryffindor table and wondered out loud, "I wonder if we have any lessons with Rose."

Albus rolled his eyes at Scorpius, What a loser, he thought to himself.

"I don't know," Albus smirked, "Why don't you go ask her."

Scorpius sputtered, "Psh why would I do that?"

"Oh you're right, pretending like you don't want to spend every second with her is definitely the way to go," Albus rolled his eyes.

Scorpius scowled at him and threw a biscuit at his face, "Shut up, I do not want to spend every second with her."

Albus bit into the biscuit Scorpius threw at him and sighed, "Whatever, mate."

"Scorpius Malfoy?" the head boy from Ravenclaw said from behind their bench.

Scorpius turned to face him, "Uh, yeah?"

"Professor McGonagall asked me to tell you to go to her office right away," the boy said.

Scorpius groaned and threw his head back, "Already? Listen, if this is about transfiguring Chase's stuffed bear into a snake, he deserved it-"

The head boy's eyes narrowed, "I do not know what Professor McGonagall is wishing to speak to you about, but if she doesn't take points from your house for that incident, I'll make sure to."

With that, the boy walked away.

Scorpius groaned, reluctantly standing from the bench, "I'll see you in potions I guess."

Albus turned, "Do you think you're in trouble?"

"Why else would McGonagall call me into her office?"

Albus shrugged, "You're right, you're screwed," Albus thumped Scorpius on the back, "Good luck, mate."

Scorpius grumbled a 'Thanks' and started off for McGonagall's office.

He approached the griffin statue hiding the headmaster/headmistress office and panicked, realizing he wasn't given the password.

He was about to search around to see if there was a piece of paper or maybe a key? He wasn't sure exactly what he was doing.

The statue suddenly shrieked and began to move.

Stairs began to appear and he climbed them to be met with a big wooden door.

He gulped and knocked twice, entering when he heard McGonagall's sharp voice reply, "Come in."

He entered the office and stared around in awe.

His parents had told him about what had been Dumbledore's office, but they hadn't done it justice. It was amazing.

"Take a seat, Mr. Malfoy," McGonagall said sternly from behind the large desk.

Scorpius sighed as he slid into one of the seats before McGonagall's desk.

"Professor, I really didn't expect to be in your office quite yet," Scorpius frowned, "My goal was at least one day without getting in trouble. I guess that was a great dream while it lasted."

"Mr. Malfoy, you're not here because you're in trouble," McGonagall's eyes narrowed at him in suspicion, "That is, unless you believe you have done something worth receiving a punishment."

Scorpius reddened, "No professor, I-" he cleared his throat, "Sorry, but I'm confused as to why-"

Scorpius was cut off from the roar of green flames erupting from the fire place a couple feet to his left.

He jumped back in shock when he saw who stood in the fireplace.

"Mum! Dad!" Scorpius exclaimed, running forward to hug them both.

Hermione grinned, pulling him into her and kissing his head while Draco grinned and brushed his hair slightly, "Hey there Scorp."

Scorpius pulled away, still grinning ear to ear, "What are you guys doing here?"

They both gave each other that look that Scoprius knew all too well. It was the whole we have something to tell you and it either meant he was going to get a really great surprise or he was about to have the worst day ever.

Hermione smiled as Draco put an arm around her, gesturing for her to tell him.

"Well, Scorp, we came to tell you before the public hears about it that you..." she grinned, "are going to be getting a new brother or sister!"

She set her hand on her stomach in affection and her and Draco stared at Scorpius hopefully.

Scorpius's mouth opened wide, "What!" he grinned, "Really?"

They nodded, relieved he was as excited as them.

Scorpius ran to hug his Mum, "Please be another brother, please be another brother..."

Hermione laughed, "I'll see what I can do."

McGonagall walked over to the lot, smiling as she gave Hermione and then Draco hugs, congratulating them.

She sighed, "I do remember when the two of you were first paired up, none of the other professors thought it would be a good match. Oh, but I knew all along. The two of you were meant to be together, you were exactly what each other needed, all you needed was someone to show you that you needed each other."

Hermione and Draco smiled at each other before Hermione said, "Well, Professor, thank you for being that someone and believing in us."

McGonagall nodded, "Of course."

"There wouldn't be any chance Hermione and I could quickly look around our old room, would there?" Draco asked.

McGonagall sighed heavily, "I suppose since you two are here."

Hermione and Draco grinned, "Thank you, we'll make it quick, we promise."

McGonagall waved them off before discretely winking at them.

Hermione grinned as they walked out, she had missed McGonagall's motherly teaching methods.

Scorpius and Draco were already far ahead, both excited.

Scorpius called back to her, "Come on Mum!"

"Alright! Alright!" she grinned, and hurried to catch up to them.
