Hermione sighed in exhaustion as she threw herself on her and Draco's bed.

She had just put Alya and Leo to bed, having to wrestle Draco's stapler from his office out of Leo's tiny, chubby hands.

"We seriously need to put a child lock spell on that room," she said to herself as she tip toed away from her son who was already passed out.

Hermione smiled as she slipped under the covers, thinking about how her oldest son was doing at Hogwarts.

Hermione sighed, I really hope he's enjoying himself.

Hermione knew Scorpius was hesitant to leave for a year, even if he was going to Hogwarts. Scorpius had always gotten homesick quickly and easily. Which is why Hermione took it upon herself to floo to McGonagall's office, explaining the situation to her.

McGonagall agreed to let Hermione know if she noticed Scorpius struggling.

A knock at the door startled Hermione out of her thoughts.

Draco smirked at her, "Geez, did the kids kill you?"

"Nearly," Hermione smiled tiredly.

Draco shook off his jacket and set his brief case on the ground before setting himself on the bed next to Hermione.

Hermione immediately wrapped her arm around his waist and pulled him closer to her. He chuckled slightly before pulling her against his side, his arm supporting her back.

Draco kissed her head and mumbled against her hair, "I'm sorry I was late, apparently there was a shortage of ingredients at Malfoy Industries and they couldn't finish the biggest order of potions we've had all year."

Hermione waved him off with a yawn, "It's fine, I didn't end up going back to work after we dropped off Scorp. Alya was really upset about the whole thing and kept asking when Scorpius was going to be home."

Draco pulled away from her and grinned, "Speaking of Scorpius..."

Hermione sat up as he pulled out an envelope from behind his back and waved it in front of her.

Hermione gasped and grinned, snatching it from his hand, "He wrote a letter!"

"Well, I guess you don't have to worry about not getting updates from him," Draco chuckled, pulling her back to his side, missing her warmth.

Hermione chuckled and pressed her lips against his cheek, "Oh don't worry, it'll wear off soon."

Hermione opened the letter and threw the envelope who knows where.

Mum and Dad,

You weren't kidding when you said Hogwarts was amazing.

Hermione let out a breath of relief.

The train ride was fun. I sat with Albus, he wasn't lucky enough to avoid the crowds and almost missed the train because Aunt Ginny was giving him a lecture.

Albus was pretty nervous about the sorting and so I talked to him about it and I guess I calmed him down. I'm about 99.99% sure I got that skill from Mum, so thanks for that Mum.

No offense, Dad.

Draco scoffed, "Traitor."

Rose came to sit with us too and Albus and I raided the trolley, sorry Mum. But hey, I didn't spoil my dinner so there you go.
