Trigger Warning: Self-harm aftermath and attempted suicide. Proceed with caution.

Friday had alerted Tony of course that Peter was on the top of the Avengers Tower. He started to get really worried when he saw his kid go over the railing. A part of him hoped that Peter would just come back over the railing and head in the Tower but he could tell that this wouldn't lead to anything good. He got in his suit and hovered a few feet behind Peter. He almost had a heart attack when he saw Peter free fall to the ground. With no hesitation, he flew as fast as he could towards his direction and caught him before he hit the ground.

Peter was punching the strong metallic arms that were holding him but to no avail. "Let me go, I want to die you have no right to stop me from doing it! Let me go, please let- let me.. don't let me go.." whispered Peter while sobbing hard and clutching on Ironman. "Please... help me.." pleaded the spider breaking his mentors- no, dad's heart into a million pieces. "Don't worry Underoos I've got you, I'll help you, I'm here for you." whispered the elder male, in an attempt to comfort the sobbing mess he was holding in his arms. Oh Pete why, why did you do this.. It's my fault I didn't go to check up on him, I'm a worthless father, actually am I allowed to be called a father after failing to protect my kid? was all Tony could think while carrying the kid to the MedBay again for the second time this day.

"Oh no what happened Tony?" asked a worried Bruce. "He.. he tried t-to kill himself.." sputtered Tony on the verge of tears. Bruce stayed silent and proceeded to check on Peter for any trauma "Okay so, as I can see he is not unconscious-he is just sleeping- nor hurt, there are though some deep cuts on both his hands and some on his legs but I'll just bandage them up and he's ready to go. Tony, I think he should see a therapist." "I know, I'll talk to him about this later. I'll let him rest now, he looks exhausted." murmured the billionaire as he scooped the boy up and went to his room. He couldn't hold the tears anymore. By the time he had reached Peter's room, he was already snifling his nose and wiping his tears away with his sleeve. I failed him yet again. What am I going to do, I don't want to lose him. His thoughts were interrupted by a sleepy and hoarse voice "D-dad? Where.. where am I?" If it weren't for the time, Tony would've smiled at the "dad" but now, right now he couldn't bring himself to smile at all. "You're in your room kid. I brought you here." "What time is it?""5:00AM. You should sleep a little more though, you must be exhausted." "N-no I don't want to sleep.." Peter's voice sounded so broken and.. and sad. God, kid you'll be the death of me. He sighed. "Alright then. Wanna talk about it?" The younger nodded. "It's just that.. I was so tired of fighting these voices.. and after a while I gave up. I started believing what they said to me although I knew that it wasn't true... And I couldn't make them stop so I found another way to silence them... forever." Tont shivered at the thought of Peter being dead. Oh, he wouldn't be able to move on if it happened. He would blame himself and would follow soon after. "May I ask.. what do these voices tell you?" hesitantly questioned the billionaire. "They.. they tell me that I'm worthless, unloved, unwanted and a burden. Sometimes they turn into May's, Ben's and my parents' voices, telling me that it's all my fault that they are dead which is partially tr-" "Hey, do not ever think that their deaths were your fault. You couldn't have done anything, Peter. You can't protect everyone, this is something you need to understand. With great power comes great responsibility and a part of that responsibility is to understand that you cannot save everyone who's in danger." interrupted the elder. That's what uncle Ben told me when I first got my powers! "Also, I think you should see a therapist. I know this must be hard for you but it's for your own good." Peter just nodded. He knew that trying to decline the offer would be pointless, simply because it wasn't an offer. It was kind of a command but not really. "Okay, let's lay down again and try to sleep. We both need to rest, am I right?" asked Tony with a smile. "Yeah, I guess we do." replied Peter, slightly smiling at the elder. Peter got under the bed sheets as did his dad. Tony pulled the boy into a hug and ruffled his hair "G'night dad" "Goodnight son" said the billionaire as they both drifted into a deep slumber.
