Peter woke up feeling dizzy. He couldn't remember anything besides blacking out in an alley next to his school. oh god my head is killing me.. where am i? "Hey Pete, relax son, you got hit pretty bad there. What happened buddy?" a soft voice said which Peter realised it was Tony's who was rubbing soothingly Peter's wrist. Peter melted at the touch and almost broke down, ready to spill everything out. "Hey, you've got to talk to me, you know. I won't be mad." "...you promise?" Of course son" Tony said reassuringly. "So... there's this classmate of mine... that.. hasbeenbullyingmeforalmostthreeyears." "What?! Peter, that's serious. Why didn't you tell me before? You know you can tell me anything, right?" Peter didn't answer. What was he going to say, that he felt like a burden and he thought that Mr. Stark didn't even like him? That he wanted to end his life because he felt responsible for the deaths of his family? He prefered to remain silent rather than say anything. "Please, Peter. Talk to me." Tony said with a sad expression, letting a tear run down his cheek. God, what else is this kid hidding from me?... "I.. I thought that you didn't like me and that you didn't care and I felt like a burden.. I'm sorry.." Tears were now streaming down his face. Tony caressed Peter's cheek while wipping away the tears from his face. "Peter, I love you okay? I want you to never forget that. And I'll always love you." "I love you too, dad." said Peter engulfing his dad in a tight embrace. Tony pulled apart despite the ache deep in his chest when he did so. "But, now I have to take care of a certain bully and in order to do that I need information. So. Spill it, Peter." Peter sighed in defeat "Ugh, fine".
-------------------------------------------
The next day at school was pretty normal. It was last period and they had P.E. Peter, as usual, was mumbling something about "not wanting to be here" and that "he sucks at P.E. because it's the worst". Well, the last one was only partly true because in reality he was very good at P.E. due to his abilities but he couldn't use them, it would be very suspicious. So, he just sat at the corner of the gym and participated only in the mandatory activities. He was thinking about what updates he could do on his shooters and suit but he was "interrupted" by a loud voice that echoed in the gym. "WHICH ONE OF YOU IS EUGENE "FLASH" THOMPSON?" oh god, oh no, oh god, oh no this is not happening, please tell me this is not happening right now A few students gasped at the sight of the billionaire but Peter, who was silently praying that his father hadn't seen him and wanting to die right there. Flash, of course, stood up and with pride said "It's me! I am Flash Thompson! Are you here for my internship at Stark Industries? I acce.. pt.." He trailed off as he saw that Tony Stark was very angry, almost fuming from anger. "You! No, I am not here for your internship. But, I think if you take a look around here you'll understand why" Flash froze. "I...I.." "You...you... ARE BULLYING MY SON!" mocked Tony. By now, Peter was almost sure that Flash had shat his pants. "I'm.. I'm sorry Mr. Stark.. it won't happen again.." said Flash still frozen in his place, looking down. "It better be! Now, don't you dare lie to me because I will know and I'll make sure you never get accepted to any college. Got it?" Tony was almost shaking, as did Flash but for complete different reasons. The billionaire hadn't realised that his son was now by his side almost pleading him to calm down. "Got it, sir." said Flash and left the gym, almost running out of it. "Hey, hey dad it's okay.." Oh how the roles changed. Instead of Tony comforting and calming down Peter, it was the opposite. Peter was now hugging his dad tight, trying to reassure him that he is okay and to calm him. The billionaire took in a shaky breath and exhaled with force, relaxing a little. "Hey Peter, I'm sorry for doing this publicly but I couldn't stand the thought of you getting hurt by that bully!" "It's okay dad, I get it but please, next time you're coming, please inform me so that I can hide somewhere! Seriously, the whole gym was looking at you and me!" Tony laughed. "Okay, I promise. But if he ever picks on you again I want you to tell me right away. Got it?" "Sir yes, sir!" said Peter, saluting as if Tony was an upper soldier making Tony laugh again. "God, do you know how much I love you? You're the best thing that has happened to me, Pete." Peter looked at his dad, smiling at his words. No one had ever said anything like that before to him and it made him feel comfortable and warm inside. "I love you too, dad." Tony's breath hitched at the dad although it wasn't the first time he called him that. "God, I'm never gonna get tired of you calling me dad. It warms my heart." Peter laughed "Wow you really have a heart? I thought it was a myth?!" Tony raised his hand to his chest as if he was offended "Uh, how hurtful!" "Bold of you to assume that this is the most hurtful comment about you! Honey, you've got a big storm comming!" [A/N if you got that reference marry me plz] They laughed together as they exited the building, Tony's arm hanging around Peter's shoulders protectively, never letting go of his son.
