"Hey, Nix. Parents are rioting. A Drop ship took off" Eden tells me as she enters my room.

I quickly stand up. "A drop ship? Are you sure?" I ask her.

"Saw it from the window. Like I said parents are rioting. Rumour has it it's the prisoners"

"That means Miller... but the earth isn't survivable" I state.

"Maybe it was going somewhere else" Eden suggested.

"There is nowhere else. He'll be dead and it's all thanks to me" I sigh and I sit back down.

Eden kneels down and places her hands on my shoulder. "Hey, it was not your fault. We used to steal all the time, we thought it'd be fun. It might have been your idea but it was all of our choice"

"He's all we have left" I say as tears fill my eyes.

"He'll be okay. It's Miller, he's tough as nails" Eden reassures me.

"We have to know for sure" I insist then I stand up and leave.

"Nix! Where are you going?" Eden calls after me.

"Let's get some answers" I say. She smiles then catches up with me.

As we're turning the corner we collide into Callie Cartwig who was turning at the same time.

It knocks the tablet she was holding out of her hand.

Eden picks up the tablet to pass to Callie. She has a quick glance at it before passing it back and sees an open tab.

She nudges me and I look at the screen and begin quickly reading.

'The 100'

The 100 juvenile delinquents will be sent to the ground to test it's survivability. They will be cleared of their crimes before being sent.

The following will be sent:

Octavia Blake
Roma Braggs
Daniel Cartwigg
Finn Collins
Glenn Dickson
Monty Green
Clarke Griffin
Wells Jaha
Matt Jones
Jasper Jorda-

"I'll be taking that back" Callie says and she reaches for the tablet.

Eden looks like she might struggle but I shake my head at her.

Callie takes the tablet then gives us an uncertain look before walking away.

"Those bastards" Eden mutters.

"Why the hell would Jaha send 100 kids. Including his own son. The guy really is crazy" I snap.

"I wouldn't be saying that so loudly" Commander Shumway warns me as he walks past us.

"I'm pretty sure the Chancellor knows how we all feel about him" I reply.

"He's been shot, girls. Perhaps that will quieten you" Shumway informs us.

"Shot?" I repeat.

Shumway nods.

"When? By who?" Eden asks.

Shumway pauses and turns to us "Earlier today. It was a janitor, Bellamy Blake. You know him?"

"Never heard of him" I say.
