Charlie Swan's police cruiser pulls into the driveway of his house in Forks, Washington. The house is small and white, just big enough to fit the Charlie and his two daughters. The inside is made up of three small bedrooms and only one full bathroom on the second floor. On the first floor there's the living room, which is also connected to the stairway, and the kitchen. Though it isn't big, it provides just enough space for a small family, and provides comfort to those who occasionally visit.

Melody Swan grabs some of Bella's bags from the trunk, before following Charlie inside. Once they enter, the male begins to explain where everything is for his youngest daughter. They both lead Bella upstairs to her bedroom, which is across from her sister's room.

"Didn't change much, but your sister did help with a few things." Charlie shoots a wink towards Melody, and opens the door for Bella. "I hope you like it."

Bella nods and mumbles an awkward, "Thanks." Melody helps move her bags into the room.

Isabella's room is purple with white accents. A frilly tan rug sits in the middle of the floor, which is carpeted in dark creme color. A desk sits against the far wall with school supplies stacked neatly on top, which Melody had kindly shared with her.

Charlie gives a half smile and awkwardly stands in the doorway, hands tucked into the front pocket of his police jacket. Melody wraps her arms around his bicep and smiles at him, comforting his nerves.

"Bella, your mother sent most of the stuff for your room." He explains, finally breaking the silence between the three as Bella looked around her room silently, taking everything in.

"It uh... it looks great dad, thanks." The youngest Swan stops herself from saying Charlie's name, before looking around again. The man nods awkwardly, not knowing what else to say. He backs away from the room slowly, causing Melody to untangle her arms from his. Charlie gives his oldest daughter a small smile before kissing her forehead. As he heads downstairs, Melody goes to help Bella unpack and settle in.

Charlie Swan hates to hover. He's one of those dads who will leave his kids to do their thing, unless it becomes a problem. It's been years since Melody and Charlie have seen Bella though, so neither of them really know how to act around her now. Their mom, Reneé, had left their dad when they were both little. And though she took both Melody and Bella at the time, Melody ended up staying in Forks after a few years of the back and forth visits. Charlie saw them every now and then, but it was mostly during the summer times. Eventually, Melody and Bella stopped seeing Charlie altogether. Which meant not seeing the friends they had made either. Melody Swan missed her Dad so much that she begged her mother to let her stay with him.

Once Bella shoos her sister away because she's laughing at her attempts to properly hang her clothes, Melody heads to her own room. And after much consideration, she decides to lay down for a bit. The brunette burrows herself under the blankets and closers her ocean blue eyes.

A small rap on the door wakes Melody up. She looks to see her sister standing in the doorway, her hands are tucked into her pockets. Bella steps into the room, looking around and familiarizing herself with the set up. The youngest Swan looks at Melody again– smiling this time, before starts walking back towards the doorway. Melody rubs at her eyes with the side of her fist, helping her wake up some more.

"You coming?" Bella turns to look at her sister, and chuckles when she's given a confused look in response. Melody, not understanding what Bella's getting at, stares dumbly at her sister.
