I was sitting in the living room doing some last minute work when Lilyana came running in the living room with her baby doll

"Mommy what time the twins coming I miss them" she asked looking down at me I swear I seen every bit of her father

"Um I don't know baby Calvin should be here in a few though" I told her she smiled and ran back up to her room

I bit my lip and pulled down my shirt some while closing my laptop

I been though so much over the years that some days I just feel like I was that 17 year old girl that walked in on her dead mother I swear that day changed my life forever

Then some days I look at my life now and smile to myself that I'd didn't give up when I felt lower then any thing on this earth

I remember when Ivan told me to leave I was so heart broken I didn't know where I should start but I knew I had to do something besides crying my eyes out all day

So I found me this big ass house and nice car

And picked up my life but that still didn't stop me from thinking about Ivan because after all he is Lilyana father but I heard through Calvin that he's out the game and has started his own little family which I want to be happy for him but it's like why send me and your daughter away just to make another family

It makes me wonder like was me and my child not good enough or what I knew we went through a lot but I thought he would want to be around his daughter

Lilyana doesn't even know about Ivan which I plan to keep it that way for as long as I can

Plus Luke my boyfriend of 5 years stepped in and took that role I swear I love that man I met him during school he would always bug me for my number and one day I gave in

As for me and Calvin relationship we actually tried to make it work like when I was pregnant he found me and wanted me to be with him but I couldn't knowing that I was still in love with Ivan

After a year and 6 months of waiting he found out that some girl he was messing with was pregnant and he told me he loved her even though I never told him but I was heartbroken cause I felt like I was beefing abandoned again

But I suck it up cause at the end of the day the twins looked at me as there mother hell im the only mother they know due to me raising them since they was only some months
