Vanessas POV
It was around 8:30pm when I was starting to drift off to sleep. I had just finally fallen asleep when I got a text message, I opened my eyes and rolled over to see who it was from.

[Madelaine] Hey, sorry to bother you but I couldn't sleep and I was hoping you were awake...

I smiled at her text and texted her back.

[Vanessa 😉😘] Hey, no I'm awake what's up?

[Madelaine] it's nothing really, I just can't sleep, do you have any tips on how to fall asleep?

[Vanessa 😉😘] Not really but it's only like 9pm do you wanna come over and stay the night?

[Madelaine] Oh but we have work tomorrow

[Vanessa 😉😘] Madelaine, you're just staying the night, you're not robbing a bank

[Madelaine] I guess it's okay, send me your address and I'll be there soon

[Vanessa 😉😘] **** **** ******** see you soon beautiful 😘

To be honest I was scared she wasn't going to give in when I suggested she stay the night but I was happy when she agreed to come over.

I realised that the house was a bit of a mess so I got out of bed and cleaned up the more noticeable parts of the house. I had just finished making the living room look okay when the doorbell rang, I went over and opened it knowing who it would be.

I opened the door to be greeted with a smile, I smiled back at Madelaine and stepped aside to let her in.

"So where can I put my things?" She asked shyly, gesturing to her bag of clothes.

"Oh um down the hall to the left, just put them in the corner of my room" I said smiling to her. While she went to put them in my room I sat down on the couch and turned the tv on.

"Hey do you want to watch Netflix?" I asked when she came back into the room.

"Sure" She replied standing next to the couch.

"You can sit down, the couch doesn't bite" I said chuckling at her shyness. She nodded and walked over to where I was and sat down next to me.

We picked a movie and settled down watching it, but to be completely honest, I was actually looking at Madelaine most of the time so far, admiring her beauty.

When it hit about half way through the movie she caught me staring at her.

"Take a picture it'll last longer" She giggled, looking down at her hands and playing with her fingers.

I did as she said and took a picture of her, she laughed softly when I did, she was really cute when she did that.

"Do you have a blanket?" She asked somewhere in the middle of the second movie.

"Yeah, let me go get one for us" I said, pausing the movie.
When I came back with the blanket I accidentally dropped it and had to pick it up, while I was still bent over I caught Madelaine staring at me with wide eyes.

"What?" I asked curiously. She didn't answer, instead she started giggling. "Seriously what?" I asked again.

"You have a nice ass" She chuckled. I furrowed my brows in confusion at first but then I realised what she meant, I quickly stood up and pulled my shirt down.

I only had panties on under my oversized sleep shirt.

"Oh, hehe I was heading to bed before you texted me and I forgot to put some pants on when you got here" I chuckled nervously.

I handed her the blanket and sat further away from her this time, pulling my shirt down over my panties.

"Oops, this is too small for you to be sitting over there" She said holding the blanket up.

"Uh, that's o-okay, I'm not that cold" I said, playing the movie.

"Vanessa, it's okay, they're just panties, now would you please just come over here" She said patting the couch.

I sighed in defeat and moved next to her on the couch, she put the blanket over us and laid her head on my shoulder as we continued to watch the rest of the movie.

I cleaned the living room and turned the tv and lights off while Madelaine was in my room changing into her pyjamas.

I walked down the short hallway to my room and knocked on the door.

"You can come in" I walked in and she was only in her bra and panties, I covered my eyes and walked out to the living room.

"What's wrong?" She asked, following me out to the living room, still in her bra and panties.

"Uh, um you're like basically naked" I said, turning my head away trying not to be offensive. She laughed and took my hand in hers, bringing it off the couch.

"Yeah I am, now come and help me find my pyjamas" She said pulling me towards my room by my hand.

We looked in her bag for a bit until I found her pyjamas and she put them on.

"You know, I think I'm just going to sleep in my underwear" She said, taking off her pyjamas and climbing into the bed.

"Uh I'm going to sleep in the guest bedroom tonight" I said picking up my pillow and walking to the door.

"Wait, please stay in here" She said sitting up in her spot. I looked between her and the door a few times before shuffling over to the bed and getting in.

I turned the light off and got comfortable.

"Goodnight" Madelaine said, kissing my cheek.

"Goodnight beautiful" I replied. I felt myself blush when she kissed my cheek but I hid it really fast.

"Vanessa?" I heard Madelaine say.

"Yeah, gorgeous?" I asked turning the light on.

"This didn't work, I still can't sleep" She said, staring up at the ceiling. I turned to face her, admiring her side profile.

"Come here.." I said, opening my arms for her. She shuffled into them and got comfortable.

"Get some rest we have work tomorrow" I said turning the light off again. The room went silent for a while before she spoke.

"Thank you, for tonight, Vanessa. I really appreciate it" She said, cuddling into my side.

"Anytime, beautiful" I replied, stroking her back.
