Vanessas POV

Currently I'm at some hotel in Vancouver, I'm only here until I can scrape up some money to buy a plane ticket so I can get out of here.

I'm sitting on the couch thinking about wether I should ask my sister for some money.

I shouldn't. Maybe I should. No, I can't. I'm going to.

I pulled out my phone and brought up Celina's contact. I pressed the call button and prepared to ask her for money.

"Hey sis, what's up?" Celina asked as she answered her phone.

"Hey, Celina. I have a favour to ask..." I sighed.

"Sure, what is it?" She asked.

"C-can I um borrow some money please?" I asked hesitantly. I heard her sigh over the phone.

"Of course, how much do you need" she breathed out.

"Um about four-hundred dollars?" I said while biting my lip.

"What do you need that kind of money for?" She asked.

"For a plane ticket, I wasn't supposed to be leaving Vancouver this early and I don't have any money, I'm using it to pay for this hotel" I explained.

"Of course you can borrow the money, Just pay it back please" she said.

"Yes, definitely, thank you so much, I love you!" I basically screamed.

"I love you too, bye" Celina said and hung up.
I put my phone down and jumped up and down.

I started packing my bags up again and then went on to book my flight back to LA. There were no flights until tomorrow morning so I guess that gave me the whole day to finish packing up my shit.

I had finished packing up one of my suitcases, I got tired and didn't start packing the other one yet.

It was about 7:30pm and time for dinner, I thought about where to go to eat but the only place I could think of was Veggie Grill.

"Guess I'm going to Veggie Grill then" I sighed. I'm only worried that I'm going to see Madelaine there, although if I hurry I could make it there before they wrap.

I quickly threw on my coat and grabbed my hotel keys and headed downstairs. I had pre-ordered an Uber so it ready for when I got downstairs.

I jumped in and they took me straight to Veggie Grill, I got out and paid the fare, I checked to see if Madelaine or any of the cast were there. Surprisingly none of them were.

I headed in and waited in line, once I got to the front of the line I ordered my dinner and went to pay for it.

"Oh, shit, I don't have any money left on my card, Jesus Christ" I said as I checked my bank account.

"Don't worry about it, just scratch that order" I said, I went to walk away.

"Excuse me, I'd like to pay for the lady's food" a familiar voice said.

I turned around, knowing exactly who it was...

"Madelaine! Why do you constantly have to swoop in and save the day, when I don't want to be saved?" I said as I took my recipe from her hands and walked off to find a table.

I watched her order her own food and pay for it, she even waited at the counter to pick up the food instead of having it brought to us.

She sat down with the food and pushed mine towards me with my drink. She took a spoonful of her food and put her spoon down.

"I came and "saved the day" because I love you and I wanted to say that I'm sorry for not giving you a say in our relationship, and I wanted to do it in person, so I'm sorry, I really am" She said, looking sincere.

I sighed and slumped back into my seat, I really hate that she's putting me in such a difficult position.

"Look Mads, I'll accept your apology but I've thought about this and I think it's better if we do just be friends, I'm sorry that I lashed out at you but I'm agreeing with you now, so friends?" I explained, holding my hand out for her to shake. She smiled at me and extended her arm to mine.

"Best friends" she said and shook my hand.

"I could never stay mad at you" I giggled.

The rest of the night we just sat and talked like we used to do. It was a refreshing change of pace from the constant hiding and sneaking around for the past month.

"So I should probably tell you that I'm going back to LA tomorrow, I booked a flight and I don't plan on coming back here for a while, but I'll still visit you later on in the year and I'll FaceTime you every day" I say as I take a spoonful of food into my mouth.

"That's okay, I understand, I hope you find work back in LA" she said as she grabbed my hand in support.

"Oh speaking of, I already an audition lined up for when I get back and hopefully I'll get it" I said.

"Ohhh what is it?" She asked. I spent the rest of the night trying to explain the whole plot and storyline to her, she just wasn't getting it, it was funny how she couldn't follow along properly.

Soon after I finished explaining the show to her we got up and left, she offered to pay for my Uber but I told her I was just going to walk back to the hotel.

We said our goodbyes and headed our separate ways for the night.
