Chapter 3: To Become a Champion

Sun's POV

After that whole thing was over I brought both Asrar and Moon to my house aka Professor Kukui's house, where both myself and Moon live now. We searched for his necklace near the stadium but couldn't find anything that looked even close to the description Asrar gave us when we walked back. So we left at that, like Asrar had said before.

"So can I ask you something?" Asrar asked

"Sure, What is it?" I responded wondering what he wanted to know

"Why does Professor Kukui call you guys his cousin? Are you related anyhow?" He questioned

I just stared dumbfounded at him and then looked at Moon, next thing I know we're both laughing so hard!

"Asrar is probably real confused now," I thought

Asrar's POV

    After I asked the question I just saw both of them laughing dye hard, on the ground. That's when Professor Kukui came in and asked what was going on. I caught him up and FINALLY the two had stopped laughing and explained the situation.

"So basically Professor Kukui is our so said cousin sort of, but we mainly just know him from when we first moved here. He just calls us cousins because he likes calling us that, and our moms are great friends with him," Sun explained

He was still wiping off some tears from laughing so hard. I nodded my head.

"So Asrar, have you taken the trials around Aloha for all the Z-Moves then, knowing you used one during the fight," Kukui asked

I nodded again in response. I was still worried about the necklace, but I didn't want them to worry.

"Sooo....do you have any goal on becoming a Pokémon Aloha Champion? Seems you'd be really good as a champion," Sun asked breaking some silence

I shook my head, not sure exactly why. I've never wanted to be a Pokémon Champion, never crossed my mind when I got, well found my starter.

"WHAT!" Both Sun and Moon exclaimed disappointed

"But why!!! You could easily take down the Elite 4 I bet and take the crown until a new challenger appears to take your place!" Moon whined, wanting me to be the Champion

I shrugged again, "I just haven't been interested,"

"Come on! It'll be fun promise! Besides how many Z-Moves or trails have you finished or gotten?" Sun asked

"Well I have all the Z-Moves and completed all the trials. I don't know, I'm just not up for becoming the Champion you know?" I replied sighing

After that I stayed with those guys for a whole week as Sun and Moon weren't about to quit that conversation there. Oh no. They both begged and whined about me becoming the Champion and they wouldn't shut up! I finally had enough and said one day.

"Okay if I say I'll go and become the Champion could you two STOP?" I demanded

"ALRIGHT! We got him!" They both yelled in sync

I just sighed, "what did I just sign up for?" I questioned

After that they both told me about how they're going to become the Champions too, if I don't get there before them. Also about how their friend is the recent champion, STILL. His name is Hau and boy is he strong, so they say. We started to walk out the house and into the city, and as we walked by the beach I saw the same guy, with his strange yet cool looking Pokémon.

He looked up at me and I saw something glowing in his hand. That's when I started running at him as Sun and Moon followed behind me.

"Could it be?! No way! How'd he get it? Where did he find it!" I wondered, practically yelling at myself knowing some stranger had it

I looked for it all week without Sun, Moon or Professor Kukui noticing, though Rockruff made it hard. Once he got up to him he was about to give me my necklace that was glowing in his hand until...
