Emily's POV:
It's my first day of high school and I really don't know what to expect. I've just moved from the UK and America is extremely different. Some of my extended family suggested we moved here after we were looking for somewhere to move and it's nice to have them around me again like it was when I was younger. One of my worries are that I'm going to be made fun of because of my accent.
My mum has dropped me my the school gate. I waked with a pace so that I'm not late for my first class. I take a look at my timetable and it's home room in room 135. As I'm on my way into the school I see a rather small kid wearing a bow tie and shirt. He is holding a brief case. the boy only looks about nine or ten so I don't know what he is doing here. Oh well I'm sure I'll find out but that isn't at the top of my agenda at the moment.
I've now found my home room, on the board is a seating plan I'm sat one row from the front. I sit down. Everything is so unfamiliar and I feel like I'm dreaming and I'm going to wake up soon but unfortunately I don't. This is real life and I'm going to have to adjust to it whether I like it or not. I'm one of the only people here along with the teacher which is awkward. All of a sudden a tsunami of students fill the room there's about twenty of us in total now. In the crowd there is a boy his eyes are absolutely gorgeous and his lips look so perfect. I've only been in here for ten minuets and I've already found myself a crush... how typical. The teacher is about to start when the young boy walks in. He starts quite a bit of discussion and chatter as he sits down. Now the teacher starts talking about how the school works and all of that boring stuff. I start day dreaming about that boy. I wonder what his name is and how I can talk to him...
