Emily's POV:
On our way to the store Georgie is flirtier than normal. He is holding my hand as we walk down the sidewalk to the local grocery store which was about five minutes away.
"Do ya wanna go to the movies tomorrow and you could possibly stay over if our parents allow?" Georgie asks.
Definitely" I replies.
As we get to the grocery store Georgie lets go of my hand and picks up a shopping basket. We went into the store and bought the items Mrs Cooper asked for. On the way back Georgie asks me.
"When are we gonna tell our parents?"
"Possibly tonight over dinner for your parents but when I get back home or when they see you for my parents?"
"Ok sounds good" He says "And maybe if I pick you up on the way to the movies you could tell them then"
"Great"
When we give Mary the shopping she thanks us and tells us that food is nearly ready. As she says that, me and Georgie look at each other excited but nervously.
We go to Georgie's room we lay on the bed. Georgie puts him arm around me and cuddles me. The smell of him is so comforting. As starts to play with my hair I see his football kit, he's number 20.
"How long have you been playing football" I ask "I mean I've seen you and your really good" I say.
"About ten years" he replies.
"Kids, dinner!!" Mary shouts from the kitchen "And wash your hands first"
We sit down and say grace.
"Mom, Dad" Georgie says, sounding unsure of himself "I... well... we have something to tell y'all"
"Yes, Georgie. What's wrong?" Mary replies.
"Nothin's wrong, we just wanted to say that me and Emily are dating now"
"Aw you guys that's great" Mary says.
"Yeah really I'm happy for you both" George adds.
Missy jumps out of her seat and comes over to hug me and she says
"Yay now your even closer to becoming my big sister. When's the wedding?"
Everyone starts laughing.
- time skip to the end of the evening -
We've finished dinner and we're standing on the porch.
"Well I'm glad that everyone's happy about us being together" I say.
"So am I" Georgie replies.
He kisses me and tucks my hair behind my ear.
"Goodnight" he says.
"Goodnight" I repeat as I start walking home.
That was one of the best nights yet, I wonder what the movie will be like...
